Tears were forming in the corners of your eyes when you saw her in that state. You couldn't find any words in yourself. You blamed yourself for taking too much time for all of that.

"That man... He took me. It was like strange **** was making me do everything it wanted, like sitting as an observer in your own body." She tried to move and screamed in pain. "David... My legs."

"Don't worry, everything is going to be okay." You tried reassuring her.

"No it won't." She answered in a crying voice. "You know I'm not strong enough to heal it on my own."

She sighed. You were pretty sure she was already resigned from fighting for her life. Letting go of her, you moved your armour so it touched her lower limbs. Kelara was surrounded by a blueish aura, her eyes closed and focusing on healing. You had to admit, she was bravely enduring the pain. Then, aura enveloping her changed, was filled with red spikes. Combined magic of Kelara and whatever Ishtar was supplying her was actually helping. It took about ten minutes before she could stand up again, but you were happy it worked at all. When the work was done, she threw herself at you, showering you with hugs.

"Thank you! I don't know what you did, but... Oh, you are naked." She noticed, your armour still formed in your hand in the shape of a long spike. You recalled it to cover yourself.

"It's the... Artifact. Ronald sent me to find it and bring it to him, but I made a deal with it's inhabitant."

Ishtar added.

"Okay... Thank you, whoever you are. Did you break that man's spell like that as well?"

You had no idea. Well, you had some. It probably had something to do with your special ability. You didn't tell anyone about it before, but...

Void magic? Interesting. Obviously it doesn't work on me, but it should stop any local magic.

Kelara looked at you in a weird way again. Her muscles stiffened, her eyes looked somewhere behind you.

"Master..." She said.

The spell was taking her over again. You jumped towards her and kissed again, this time forcing your tongue inside her mouth, making sure it will have more lasting effect.

"Wow... Thank you, David. You did it again." She said cheerfully.

You realize that it's only a temporary solution? That you will have to do something else if you want to have any hope of saving those girls?
