Keeping your options open

You simply stand there looking at your elven companion, not sure what the best course of action is. Siora, however, gets a spark of inspiration and replies to the centaur. "We don't have to decide anything until you leave, right? We can just stay with you until then."

The older centaur thinks on it for a moment then nods. "I suppose that is true. You can follow us as we make our purchases." With that he joins his comrades. You and Siora hobble behind them, leaning on each other for mutual support. Though you aren't in any pain, you wince every time one of your steps loosens more centaur cum out of you, and you notice Siora doing the same.

"How are you feeling down there?" you whisper to the elf. "Today was your first time, wasn't it?"

Siora nods. "It was not how I'd ever imagined it would happen, but it wasn't an unpleasant experience," she explains.

The two of you stay back a little as the centaurs make their purchases. Though the sellers have lanterns illuminating their wares, their light does not travel far. Not much attention is paid to you standing behind the much larger centaurs. You get the best peek that you can of each stall that you pass, though for some you can't get close enough to see what it actually is that they're selling.

The centaurs stop in front of a stall with many vials and flasks filled with colorful liquids on display. While they spend several minutes negotiating prices for potions that will augment their strength and defense, curiosity gets the better of you and Siora. The two of you step up, entranced by the dazzling blue hues swirling in the potions labeled "instant mana" and "water walking".

"Are you interested?" one of the vendors asks. The unexpected question makes the two of you jump a little, as you didn't even see him approach you.

"They look very high-quality," Siora politely responds. "But we don't have the money to spend on something like this right now."

"Well I'm sure there will be more available when you can purchase some," the man behind the counter reassures her. "If you want to make some extra change, though, I'm sure we can make some arrangements."

The vagueness of these "arrangements" leaves you uneasy. "We can think about it," you give as a non-answer with a smile. With that, you follow the centaurs to the next vendor.

When the centaurs are done shopping, they stuff the saddlebags on the smallest centaur full to the brim with their purchases. While they are getting their final preparations sorted you pull Siora aside to discuss with her what your plan should be going forward.
