“So we are not going to play this out?” Sandra asks with a hint of disappointment in her voice.

“Nah, you shake your head.” I don't usually play out the judicial parts of the game, just ask Ragnar.” You truthfully reply. “Besides the guys will return soon with food and I want to get you all back together as a party as soon as possible. So, give it roll.”

“Okay.” The attractive brunette picks up her dice and gives it a less than enthusiastic roll. It's a 16, so you declare that Rae only loses a third of her gold pieces.

“That's good.” She responds in a flat tone as you begin to realize you have really screwed up. Looking over at Sandra she gives you a polite bored smile which at the least kills your erection. “So, how are classes going?” She starts to make small talk. Her politeness, however, is more wounding than cold silence.

“Vivian told me you guys are going to a concert next week?” You grasp at the first thing that comes to mind.

“We did. We had two tickets to hear Shawn Mendes.” The shapely brunette gives her shoulders a friendly shrug. “I stepped aside so she could take her niece. I guess she's a bigger fan than even Vivian.”

“That's very kind of you.” You give a partial laugh, “Viv likes Shawn Mendes?”

“You would be surprised, my roommate has a much more softer side than you realize.” Sandra replies. “YEah, I like his music, but Viv really cares for her niece, and they want some quality time together. Do you like Mendes?”

“Whiny, effeminate, pretty-boy who can't sing” is what comes to mind. “I really haven't followed him”, however, is your answer.

“He makes good music, Viv and her niece should have great time on Saturday.” Sandra plays with a strand of her hair as she gives you a brief pondering look. “Just means I have to go solo for the weekend, no big.”
