Lilah grins at you and you feel a sharp prick in your neck. The last thing you see before things go black is shiny red latex.

You feel someone poking you. You struggle to open your eyes.

“C’mon Akira, the Grand Cross wants to see us.”

You recognize the voice. It’s Tasha. You open your eyes. Tasha’s friendly face stares back at you.

“Tasha, you're ok?”

Tasha grins. “I don’t know what dream you were having but I’m fine. Hurry up.”

You follow Tasha into the office of the Grand Cross. Behind an ancient mahogany desk sits the Grand Cross. The seventy year old matriarch of your order looks somehow firmer than you remember.

“Tasha, Akira, good to see you both. I want to see you reaffirm your vows before your next mission.”

“Of course Grand Cross!” Tasha exclaims.

“Now repeat after me girls. I give my very soul to The Order, and to the leader that sits upon this cathedra.”

Tasha begins. “I give my...C’mon Akira, we need to get ready for our next mission.”

Something feels off, you can’t place it. However, Tasha is your friend. She’d never hurt you.
