Who do you text?
Is she down?
I decide to text {if Choice=2}Eva back{elseif Choice=3}Kayla {elseif Choice=4}Claire back{elseif Choice=5}Olivia back{endif}.
{if Choice=2}Eva was younger than the others. I decided to act more direct. I took a suggestive snap of myself in the mirror, wearing just my boxer briefs, and added a text:
"How about one last memory before you go? Let’s hang out!"
Her reply came almost instantly, a snap of her legs as she's lying on her hotel bed.
"Hey! So, I'm leaving super early tomorrow, but I've been like low-key obsessing over you after that night. Can't stay long, but... do you live near my hotel?"
She added the name of the hotel, which was a few miles down the road.
"Yeah, I can be there in fifteen," I wrote back.
"OMG!" she replied.
Then:
"Give me 30."
I gave her thumbs up.
{elseif Choice=3}"Hey Kayla, wyd? Want to grab a drink sometime and relive those memories?"
There was no immediate response. I tossed my phone away and browsed the books in my shelf, looking for something to pass the time. One title seemed to light up as my eyes passed over the eclectic selection: "Biobytes and digital life - how we are probably living in a simulation", by Liz Bitstream. I picked it up and started reading, just as my phone buzzed again.
"Hi :)"
...
She was typing.
...
...
"I'm sorry. I did not mean to lead you on. I don't think we can see eachother again. I'm... kinda seeing someone."
Wow. I didn't see that one coming. I sat down on my bed, phone in hand, staring at the message. Was she for real? Kinda shitty of her to come to my house the other day if she was already in a relationship. Yet, Liz had told me she was single.
"Hey, Liz, what's up with her relationship status?" I asked my app AI.
"She's single," Liz said.
Huh. Could the game be wrong? Either that, or she was making up an excuse to not see me, but why?!
"I don't believe you," I wrote back, "You're too much of a good girl to have cheated on a guy already,"
...
...
...
She started typing, but nothing came back.
Until...
"Can we meet up for a coffee?" she finally wrote.
"Half an hour, down by 6th street and Main?" I replied.
She sent a thumbs up emoji back.
{elseif Choice=4}"What's my favorite stud doing today?" she had asked.
"Thinking I should go shopping for clothes again..." I replied, my mind going back to the day when I entered her store and creampied her half an hour later.
"Oh yeah, do you like shopping?"
"Not always..." I said.
"If you want, I could select a few items for you and drop in at your place with them," she texted back.
"That would be extremely good customer service," I wrote.
"Anything for my favorite customer," she said, "but give me about half an hour, I need to close up shop first. I need to write a sign about my dead grandmother."
"I'll be ready," I said.
Damn, it was almost too easy now.
{elseif Choice=5}To be written....
{endif}
