Katrina Lanus the Catgirl

John ordered a search for Katrina Lanus. Partly because she would be useful to searching the maze and partly because John still loved her. But it had been a different time. John himself had changed, he'd taken on other women, he had ****, the thing he hated Matilda and Francis for.

Would she even love such a man? It was discovered that Kat had joined a guild called Overture. As they're hideout wouldn't be located, John decided to hire Kat. Kat arrived at the castle, carrying a sword. She was a redheaded catgirl who was barefoot.

"Prince John?" she said.

Kat ran up to John and hugged him.

"What happened?" John asked.

Kat told him about how she remembered her previous life as a student at No-Name High in which was committed suicide by jumping off the school roof (she survived the fall but got run over by a truck).

Finding herself in a life that was quite similar despite the fantasy setting, Kat decided to run away and was found by Overture who took her in.

"You mean you reincarnated here too?" asked John.

"What do you?" asked Kat.

"Kat, its me, the John you knew in that life. I died and reincarnated here too"

"Are you sure she'll be much help?" asked Liv, "she's barely trained"

"Don't worry" said Kat, "I have catlike reflexes"

"And as a Neko, she can see in the dark" said John, "that is specifically what we need"

John and Kat entered the maze. With Kat's ability to see in total darkness, she was able to guide John.

"Are you sure its a good idea for you to come with me?" Kat asked, "you can't see anything"

"I know" said John, "but I want to protect you"

John walked into a wall. Good job, protecting her. Kat had to guide him along, meaning she was the one protecting him. Kat saw a shadow moving in a corridor. The shadow quickly moved away as she and John approached it.

"Something's wrong" said Kat, "the maze changes"

"This is more dangerous than I expected" said John.

John pulled out his sword. Unfortunately, the tunnels were too cumbersome for it and he just ended up catching it against the wall.

"Its no good, we should get out of here" said John.

Kat quickly guided John out of the maze.
