Katie lies

"It...err...it's for a dare," Katie smiled weakly.

"So because you were dared to do it, you think it's OK to not only enter a staff-only area but to do so completely naked?"

"It's only a bit of fun!" Katie argued, sticking to her story.

"Well, maybe a talk with Principal Van Ravensway will help you learn how fun breaking the rules is."

"Wait, you don't have to do that!" Katie pleaded as the cook reached for her phone; getting Gail involved was the last thing she needed!

"Theft and indecent exposure, you're lucky I'm only calling the principal, and not the police!"

Katie stood there awkwardly behind her arms while her evil stepmother was called to the kitchen.

"You may as well make yourself useful before she gets here," the cook explained. "Start by washing those pots."

"Can I at least have something to wear?" Katie asked as she shuffled over to the sink. "I'm really cold!"

"Well, perhaps you should have thought of that before taking all your clothes off in school."

Katie sobbed quietly to herself as she scrubbed the dirty kitchen equipment. Under the watchful eye of the cook, the naked girl wasn't allowed to sneak off, and her stomach was soon rumbling again, the handful of cookies she'd managed to scoff hardly an adequate substitution for multiple skipped meals.

This wasn't exactly an activity that Katie wasn't familiar with...although it was the first time that she was doing it in the nude.

"I thought she was exaggerating, but you are actually completely naked."

Turning around, Katie saw Gail standing in front of her, arms folded, looking extremely unimpressed.

"Gail, look, I can explain-" Katie started, throwing her arms across her torso.

"What is there to explain? You are obviously some nudist freak. I opened my home to you, I've spent my own money to look after you, and this is how you repay me?"

"It's not my fault, Victor-"

"Silence. I don't want to hear another word from you."

Taking her by the arm, Gail roughly dragged the nude girl away from the sink.

Katie's eyes widened in alarm when she realised that she was being taken back into the school corridors!

"No, wait!" Katie protested, trying and failing to wriggle free.

"Do you think I care who sees you?" Gail replied. "Besides, you're the freak who likes to run around with no clothes on, I thought you'd be enjoying this."

Classes were obviously still in session, as the corridors were largely deserted, although Katie did want to die whenever they did occasionally pass someone.

Everyone knew about how Principal Van Ravensway had taken in the orphan girl, so no one was about to question her if she dragged her charge naked through the school.

Eventually, they reached Gail's office.

The moment she was released, Katie dived into a chair and curled into a ball, shivering violently.

"What do you think you're doing?!" Gail asked. "Did I say you could sit there? Chairs aren't for naughty girls who think it's appropriate to not wear clothes at school."

Pulling Katie to her bare feet, Gail positioned the naked girl behind her desk, her feet together and arms by her side.

"Now stand there, shut up, and try not to disturb me."

Katie opened her mouth to protest; anyone coming into the office would have a full frontal view of her, and she would also be visible to anyone walking past the window at the correct angle. But one look at Gail's expression caused her to hastily seal her lips.

If she didn't want things going from bad to worse, Katie would have to endure humiliation a while longer.
