Katie Takes it well

“That’s…uh….that’s is….”, Katie stammered, not sure what to think.

“Amazing, awesome”, Mark said trying to finish her sentence.

“More Amazing really? So you can control time for individuals?”

“Yeah, I can. I’m not sure how, but I can.”

“Just…..wow!” Katie then walked up to Ashley and proceeded to flick her on the nose, hoping to get a reaction off of her. When this called to materialize, she pushed her on the chest, causing Ashley to wobble in place.

“You’re not pulling my leg, she really is frozen in time!”, Katie exclaimed.

“I can also freeze time as well”, Mark said nonchalantly.

“No way dude”, Katie said absolutely gobsmacked. “Prove it!”

Mark was slightly taken aback by this. “Our interaction earlier wasn’t enoutgh?”

Katie stared at him with a smug look. “If your saying you can’t…..”

“Well I’m not sure I can show you since everything but me freezes in place.”

“Well if you can freeze someone individually in time, it stands to reason you can do the opposite for someone else.”

Mark wanted to smack himself as for how obvious Katie’s suggestion was. “I…yeah…I guess I could try anyway.”

“Alright then, let’s see it!”

“Time Stop”, Mark called out, with everything suddenly going quiet. Mark look Katie over and gave her one last grope before saying, “Katie Start.”

Suddenly Katie became animated again., blinking a few times. “Did you do it?”

“Yep, look outside.”

Katie look pad outside and saw birds hovering in place, children playing in snow still as snowmen, and snow flurries staying in place. “I’m just…”

“Amazed? surprised? exited?”

“Yeah that.” Katie then turned away from the window and towards Mark. “I’m just thinking.”

“Yes”, Mark said, courteous what she was about to propose.

“Well you know how you froze Ashley in time..errr…permanently? Could you freeze Nadia the same way?”

“What?”
