Kate goes for it and Kara finds the device

After a moments hesitation Kate figured to hell with it. The universe was coming to an end and she had nothing left to lose. Gripping Sophie by the head, she pulled her in close for another kiss who returned it eagerly and began to run her hands down Kate's body until they rested firmly on her rear.

The intimate contact reminded them both that they were still standing in the hallway and they both broke off the kiss to move into the training room with Sophie locking the door with a thumbprint. Kate smirked as they were now alone and moved in to kiss her again wrapping her arms around her shoulders as Sophie placed her hands on Kate's hips. For the first time that day, Kate was glad to be nude since they didn't have to waste time undressing.

Once again breaking off the kiss, Sophie smiled at her as took her hand and lay down allowing Kate to get on top of her and mesh their bodies together. Meanwhile

Kara was awkwardly following the naked technician through the hallways trying to ignore the countless people passing by that got a clear view of her nude body. The annoyingly familiar feeling of wanting to cover up but not being able to was present again as she smiled at a passing crow who looked at her strangely. She hoped her nervousness wasn't too obvious, if they thought something was wrong then the whole mission was going to fail.

"It's just through here" the man had stopped and motioned towards a nearby door. Fortunately he entered it first not forcing Kara to show off her ass once more. Her relief was short lived however as she entered the room and had to suppress a squeak as she came face to face with at least 20 scientists all as nude as she was. A mixture of male and female scientists all stopped what they were doing to look at the newcomer causing Kara to feel as if she was on display.

"Uh, there's a lot of people here" Kara said before she could stop herself.

"Yeah, everyone wants a crack at it" the tech said 'but no one has figured it out yet".

Kara felt herself corralled to the centre of the room where the extrapolator was placed on a table in clear view of everyone. Kara looked down at it and thought about simply grabbing it and running to find Kate. It would definitely be reckless but she didn't know how much longer she could stand naked in front of so many people and pretend that it was ok. She should wait until there are no witnesses but who knows how long that could take.
