Katara But She's Not Alone

You had been in the process of lifting and moving large rocks when you spotted Katara pulling herself over your privacy fence. You lowered your hood and let out a little smirk seeing the petite girl in her puffy blue coat but when she lifted her head. Your smirk quickly faded away as you could see her eyes filled with terror. "Please, help me!" She exclaimed as she ran towards you,

"What's wro-" You tried to ask only for a ball of fire to burn right through your fence and fly right past your head, "Oh Hell!" You exclaimed. Katara ran to your side and pulled her hood down, narrowed her eyes and reached for the cap of her tankard. In a swift motion she bended the water out in front of her and prepared to fight. "What's coming?" You asked as you looked at the fence,

"Fire Nation soldiers." Katara muttered back, and just as she said this the fence burst into flames and flew forward. In shock of the whole event, you couldn't even react. Katara however saw this happening and quickly shot the water out, smacking the fence away from you just in time. She looked at you a bit concerned but before she could speak up two men walking through the smoke of the fence.

You shook out of your shock and to a stance and focused. As Katara hit one of the men with a whip of water, you lifted a rock and sent it soaring at the second man. The soldier dodged it and took a few quick shots at you, you were able to block one with a stone wall you summoned and dodged the second one. The third however seemed to set to hit you dead center, only a shot of water came out extinguishing the flame. You looked over at Katara and she gave you a little smile as you gave her a thankful nod.

Suddenly a shot of fire hit her arm sending her flying to the ground, screaming out in pain. You narrowed your eyes and looked back to the two soldiers who stood ready to finish you both off. You reached down placing your hands on the ground and let out a yell while causing the ground to rise below them. The men were shot up into the sky and while they sat there you pulled to stone spikes from the ground and threw them at the men sending them flying away into the distance.

You ran over to Katara who trembled on the ground while wincing in pain. Her jacket arm was burned away and her flesh was clearly burned. "Are you okay?" You asked sincerely. She looked up at you weakly as her eyes started to drift close. "Oh, guess not..." You muttered out as you carefully lifted the **** Katara in your arms and brought her into your house.
