Kass, from Breath of the Wild

Characters from the furry fandom could come from many works, including the ones that were not originally intent for furries. You just had to look to find out that many works out there who had humans as the main characters also had many furry-material auxiliary, side characters and deuteragonists. One example was Breath of the Wild.

The video game, which is a continuation of the previous games of Legend of Zelda, features Link waking up in a new world, far in the future, after he failed to defeat Ganon. In this new world, he lives many adventures, and finds out many interesting characters. Among them, there is a very curious tribe of anthropomorphic birds, the Rito. Needles to say, these feathered guys soon won their place in the furry community, particularly into the avians (the subculture of the furry fandom that loved anthropomorphic birds). Among them, a certain Rito was particularly famous, the same one that Josh found on the selection menu.

The figure of the parrot/macaw guy with dark beak and blue feathers was just in there, the name Kass written in it.

“You guy have Kass?” Josh said, looking surprised at the Rito minstrel, and he immediately said:

“I want him!”

Immediately, the figure of the parrot-like man was select, and the menu disappeared. Now, Fursona was standing before him, and his body was once more changing. His face changed, as the mammal-like head changed to have the ears disappear and the muzzle turn into a parrot-like beak. His arms enlarged, now looking less like arms and more like wings. His tail changed to be something that a bird would actually have. Soon, the colors and textures were add, with feathers turning blue and beak turning dark, and the clothes were added. He was even carrying the same accordion that he had on the games. Now, the one who stood before Josh was no other than Kass.

The blue-macaw man looked at Josh, giving him a friendly smile. “You made a good choice, my friend.” He said, looking at the human who was slightly shorter than him. “I shall do my best to please and satisfy you after being chosen.”

Josh nodded, and soon, Kass was asking him.

“So, how would you like to proceed from here? Do you want to engage in some programmed scenarios, or you prefer to have a free experience?”
