Karin Wakes Up

“UGH!” Karin groaned as she put her head on her hand... or was it hand on her head?

Either way her head was throbbing so much she couldn’t think properly. The lights didn’t help at all as she tried to open her eyes but was blinded by the bright lights. “Are you okay, doctor?” she heard a familiar female voice ask.

“I’m fine,” she groaned. “Maybe a little too much brandy and-“

Her eyes met Shepard’s as she stopped speaking. She looked down and blushed. “Oh no.”

“It’s okay. It’s just us,” Jane said. “Here take this. It’ll help the hangover.”

Jane handed Karin a small glass of red liquid. Karin drank it and everything seemed much clearer. “Thank God for modern remedies,” Karin said as her headache went away. “Thank you, Shepard. I believe I was supposed to get your physical done today.”

“It can wait,” Jane said. “Let’s just spend some time together and see where everything goes. We can hangout in the waiting room.”

Karin nodded. “I probably shouldn’t be practicing right now anyways. Did anything happen while I was... drunk?”

“Well, you threw up, but I cleaned it up for you. And you might want to sanitize some of the seats in the waiting room, just in case a turian comes along. Don’t want to cause an issue,” Jane said. “Other than that, I don’t think you did too much damage.”

“Good,” Karin said. “Well let’s get out of here. We can continue this in the waiting room.”

Jane smiled and nodded as she helped Karin to her feet and led her out of the room, making sure to lock it as they left.

Since it was just Shepard, Karin had her hands to the side so as she stepped into the waiting room, her eyes widened as the lights were all on and a crowd of people awaited her. She gasped in surprise as she moved to cover herself, but found holographic cuffs preventing her from doing so. “SURPRISE!” Everyone shouted as they all looked at the naked doctor.
