Karai escapes with the Sword.

Ryuko was the first to move, charging headfirst to take a swing at Karai with her sword.

Karai countered by parrying her blade and, in a split second, threw a handful of blinding powder in the hero's face. Feeling as though her eyes were on fire, Ryuko furiously rubbed at them to try and regain her sight before she felt a foot in her stomach, Karai's mutant strength sending her flying. Ryuko stuck her blade into the ground to slow her momentum.

Karai had smashed through the glass casing of the sword and grabbed the hilt.

"Jackpot!"

"Water Dragon!"

Ryuko briefly flashed a golden light before exploding into a maelstrom of water. A surprised Karai leapt to higher ground as the floor had flooded. Leaping out of the water was Ryuko, her body reconstituted, shooting out sword-first like a harpoon before landing on the rafters.

She looked around for the kunoichi, only to see the ceiling window was smashed open.

She had gotten away with the sword.
