KABOOM!

A massive explosion happened blasting a hole through the wall sending a bunch of ash and dust you and the goblins way. You use your arms to block all of it but suddenly the ground began to creak and groan. It gave way exposing a massive hole that looked to have no bottom underneath you. You jumped trying to grip what remaining ledge was there.

You began to pull yourself up before a secondary explosion happened scorching your exposed hand making you lose grip. But before you fell you found yourself suddenly caught by an unexpected ally. It was none other than the goblin you just cornered. After this day you’re entire perspective of goblins had been relatively shattered.

He tried to pull you off but due to the ground slowly giving way and the fact you were much heavier than him it was inevitable that you both would fall. Finally a third explosion collapsing the roof on top of the both of you. You guys fell deep within the pit being surrounded by darkness. You soon met the ground blacking out as you body collied with the ground.
