From enemies to intimate

It was finally time. The day you and many others had been training for, the War against the terrible goblins would finally come to an end after this battle. The general had gotten word of where the true home of the goblins resides and you along with many others had been sent to be the first wave of attackers. You were surprisingly anxious as you had heard everything about how truly evil, mechanical and tricky these goblins could be. Of course you had never really seen one up close but you weren’t afraid of some green little half-pint.

Finally the day came as you were deployed heading through the dense forest way up into the mountains know understanding how the goblins hid for so long. Their base was built inside the mountain allowing them to not stick out. You arrived to what seemed to be the entrance of the goblins base as the winds and heavy snow began to pick up slightly blinding you. But something was off, it was noticeably quiet and no goblins in sight.
