Just go exercise

She wondered what he meant by colleagues.

"Just go exercise for now, we'll talk later. Maybe you'll meet someone," he said, reassuringly.

She wanted to tell him that won't happen but he was gone before she could form a sentence.

She felt naked in the gym. As flattering as it was to be leered at by everyone in the place, she much preferred the anonymity of her loose exercise wear. Gone were the days she could put in her headphones and discretely work out by herself. Her outfit on her slender body drew all the attention and her flirtily arched back and newly jutting breasts kept it.

Even then, the exercises were all made unnecessarily difficult by her slightly heeled sneakers. Her whole body was off, so she had to scale back a few bodyweight exercises to stop herself from falling over.

She had to admit, though, that the attention was nice. She did enjoy that people were looking at her more. At first, the multiple volunteers to spot her on the equipment (even when it wasn't really needed) was flattering, but her shyness took over when the men became a bit transparent about their intentions. Despite how shy she felt, her body wouldn't let her show it. Unable to hunch her shoulders, she displayed herself involuntarily to all that could see.

One of the men who helped her stood out as 'not unnecessarily leery.' The 5'10" man with a soft Spanish accent didn't hit on her or overtly stare, but kindly helped with equipment. After helping, he told her his name, Samuel, and left.

'He was pretty too,' she thought to herself as she left to the women's changing room. She surprised herself by lingering a little more on his appearance than she normally would.

She found herself leaving the gym with an unfamiliar sense of excitement. She hadn't felt so flattered in a while. It had briefly distracted her from her predicament.
