Unfortunately, you can't think of a way to tell her about how you really feel in a meaningful way at this moment. Besides, your scared she'll become very angry at you for even daring to tell her. She already told you she was happy with her new fiancee after all. Telling her now would be cruel.

So instead, you opt for the long game; making her jealous enough to stop resisting you. So you tell her about how great your sex life is now. Not subtle, I know, but you really hope you can get to her this way. Especially after she told you about her weakness with men sexually.

'Yeah, and you know, maybe it's for the best,' you start off. 'I've really been enjoying my single life so far. I've had tons of sex with different girls. It's really a dream come true, on a very superficial level of course.' You smirk. 'I feel like this is the prime of our lives you know? At least, I feel that way. How do you feel, finally becoming an adult, engaged and stuff?' You try to make that last question feel subtle, but Alice is a little hard to read at this point. She has become increasingly high over the span of this conversation, and her eyes are just dazed, blank, expressionless.

'Um... yeah, it's really great actually,' Alice says, slightly unconvincingly. 'It's just really nice to have something really solid in my life going on you know...'

'Well, I'm really glad you're in a good relationship,' you tell her. 'It's not something I have been very good at, believe me...'

'Well, that's not your fault,' she smiles. 'And by the sound of it, you have enough candidates.'

'Yeah, but not candidates I would want to spend the rest of my life with. Not like you and Pascal. It sounds like you live in a fairy tale.'

'It really isn't like that,' Alice tells you now, suddenly a little bit serious. 'Sometimes I have my doubts... Serious doubts...'

'I'm sure that's just your mind messing with you,' you try, but she continues like she didn't hear you.

'And I sometimes feel like he does too... You know, I have suspicions that he might be cheating on me with one of the girls from his work...'

'Oh, come on now, you're probably just paranoid,' you tell her, a little shocked at how this conversation is turning out. 'That's completely natural.'

'He works overtime a lot,' Alice continues. 'I often don't see him until late at night. And then he doesn't touch me at all anymore...'

'Well, yeah, that does sound a little weird,' you concede. 'But I'm sure there's a logical explanation...'

'I hope so, Robbie,' she says, now looking at you. You can tell she has tears in her eyes. 'I really hope so...' She leans in to you, and you almost think she's going to kiss you. But instead she leans her face on your shoulder, to cry. You hold her for a while, consoling her.

'Robbie, will you do something for me?' she suddenly asks, now clearly sobbing.

'Anything, Alice,' you tell her sweetly.

'Will you find out if he's cheating on me?'
