Just ask her out

You follow the couple into the hall. Since casual sex is normal and everyday now, this should be easy. You move in front of Madison as she's talking to Tyler.

"Hey Tyler, hi Madison."

"Hi," says Tyler. He's always been a friendly guy, one of the better jocks.

"I was wondering if I could interrupt you guys and talk to Madison for a few minutes?"

Madison smiles sweetly and lays a hand on your shoulder, sending a chill down your back. "I'm sorry, but I'm super busy right now."

"Oh, okay," you say. "Well, I'll just be quick, then. I was wondering if you want to go out with me tonight?"

Tyler shrugs and looks at her encouragingly. "That's not a bad idea. I've got that away game tonight, so you two might as well have some fun while I'm out of town."

Madison looks you up and down, then hugs Tyler closer. "Sorry, but even though Tyler plays the brave soldier, he gets lonely if I don't call his cell and talk to him on the bus ride."

Tyler looks back at you and shrugs, silently saying that he did the best he could to help. Madison looks at you slightly pityingly.

The message is clear: even in a world where everyone hooks up with everyone, Madison is too good for you.
