Just Sae

"Ah, Futaba-chan, right?"

Answering the door was the prosecutor turned defense attorney, Sae Niijima, older sister to Makoto Niijima.

"Uh, yep!" Futaba said, not used to being in the presence of someone so powerful.

"And who's your new friend?" Sae asked.

"Hi!" Daphne said in a much too chipper voice. "I'm Daphne Blake! Nice to meet you!"

"Is Makoto around?" asked Futaba.

Sae shook her head. "No. She had student council business back at school, so she'll be there for a while."

"Perfect!" said Futaba. "So no one will be around to see me do...this!"

Before Sae could react, Futaba blasted her with the Blank trigger, sending Sae into a blank trance. Daphne, having been ordered earlier to drop int a trance when Sae did, also went blank, dropping her shopping bags.

Futaba rubbed her hands together. Time for some fun.
