Jumping jacks

"Mika, do some jumping jacks for me."

"Yes, Master," Mika said. She began to do the exercises as instructed.

"Mika! No!" Ann wailed.

"Don't worry, Miss Takamaki," said the man. "You'll join her soon."

He swung the watch in front of Ann's face, and her eyes widened.

"I-I'll never be hypnotized!" she said. "You won't...get...away with this...so...sleepy."

She gave an exaggerated yawn and lolled her head to one side, 'entranced'. The man untied her.
