Join them

Standing, Ethan and Charlie make their way over to Sam and Ashley's table.

"Hey," Ashley smiles as they get closer, "All done with your private conversation over there?"

Ethan casts a glance at Charlie, wondering how much she told Ashley about what they were going to talk about. {if Ashley=true}He also wonders how much Ashley has told Charlie. {if Ashley Sex 2=true}She did have quite a bit she could share...{endif}{endif}

"Yup," Charlie sits down next to her sister, letting out a big sigh, "So, what're you two talking about?"

"Not much," Sam eyes Ethan as he takes a seat next to her, "Charlotte, did you happen to finish that job up by the Geller's?"

"Yes, Samantha." Charlie frowns, giving Sam a slightly annoyed look, "I did it first thing this morning, Samantha."

Ashley sighs, cupping her chin in her hand. "Seriously? Full names again?"

"It's her name isn't it?" Sam frowns, looking at Ashley. "People should be called by their names."

Charlie rolls her eyes. "She's just uppity because I called her 'Sam-Jam' the other day."

Sam turns her gaze to Charlie, still frowning. "You said it in front of-" she sighs, "You did it on purpose."

"Sam," Charlie groans, "It was a fucking accident, okay? Take the fucking dildo out of your ass and loosen up a little. People aren't going to stop taking you seriously because I'm a fucking goober, fuck."

Ethan looks at Sam, watching her process Charlie's words. She doesn't seem amused, and looks like she's working her way through the five stages of grief.

"Okay!" Ashley cuts in, clapping her hands togther and standing up. "I'm going to get a round for everybody. That good, Sam? Ethan?"

Ethan nods, "Yeah, thanks..."

"Yeah," Sam sighs, "Whatever."

Watching Ashley leave, Ethan feels the tension between Sam and Charlie. It's not that they hate each other, Ethan can tell that right away, but there is definitely some friction. He hopes a drink will ease things a bit, but **** does sometimes bring out the worst in people...
