Johnny Storm Hears Her

"So," Johnny Storm asked as he poured coffee. "I couldn't help but overhear last night. Who's Karla?"

Sue Storm stiffened. She looked around, but fortunately, no one else had come to the breakfast table yet.

"The psychiatrist I've been seeing. Dr. Karla Stone," she said, as she poured herself a cut. "Why?"

Johnny smiled and took a sip, his blue eyes flashing wickedly.

"I heard you moan her name last night."

Sue nearly spilled her coffee. Her cheeks burned immediately.

"It's okay," Johnny said. "It's a fantasy, right? All the sexy supervillains and heroines we deal with, you don't think I have my spank bank? I'm not going to tell Reed or anything."

The Invisible Woman groaned and shook her head. Trust her baby brother to wind her up first thing in the morning.

"Okay, fine, you got me," she said. "And I won't tell Reed about that Skrull sex doll in your closet."

Johnny sputtered, eyebrows briefly coming alight as the coffee went down the wrong pipe. Sue smiled smugly.

"I still have to go into your room to get your dirty laundry and put it back," she said. "You'd think I wouldn't notice?"

Brother and sister shared a smile.

"Alright, alright, point made. What's this Dr. Stone like, anyway?" he asked.

"Startlingly intelligent. Terrific insight. Really seems to care. Inquisitive," Sue Storm said, then noticed Johnny's eyes and realized what he was really asking. "Tall. Blonde. Blue eyes. Fit. D-cup, although I don't think they're entirely natural. Legs for days and likes to dress to show them off."

"Rowr," he said. "Sounds like someone I should date."

"Jonathan Lowell Spencer Storm, don't you dare perve on my psychiatrist!" Sue said hotly. She bit her lip. That was not an image she needed in her brain.

Then bleary-eyed children dragged themselves out of their rooms, and it was time for breakfast.
