"It's pink!" Johnny Storm protested.

"It's your size," Sue Storm said. "Do you want sore boobies or not?"

The shop was a discreet one, the kind of high-end place which catered to those who appreciated the privacy of the location, already factored into the prices of the underwear—which went a ways beyond Victoria's Secret. These clothes often featured additional support in the form of carbon fiber nanotubes, unstable molecule fabric for the superpowered crowd, and sometimes more exotic materials. Sue had seen brassieres made of Atlantean mail and sound-dampening vibranium weave that would stop the clap of the mightiest ass cheeks.

As far as the Human Torch was concerned, it might as well be hell.

"And why does it have frills!?" Johnny asked, as he stared at his reflection in the mirror.

The figure that looked back at him was unfamiliar from several weeks ago. Johnny had put on a few pounds, despite his effort at diet and exercise. His pecs were still muscular, but the slight softening and bloating had become definite budding breasts, the pink nipples puffier and larger than they had been. The Human Torch's blonde hair had grown out a little from his normal boyish cut, while the body hair on his body had declined. There was, over all, the subtle suggestion of change to his face and hips and ass—although Sue knew it would be weeks or months before Johnny's Y-chromosome was erased forever, and a while after that before his body became fully female.

At least, that's what Porkum told her. For herself, Sue was thrilled to see the changes taking place in her future sister's body. What was more...she wasn't the only one.

A small smile creased the Invisible Woman's lips as she saw the small, stiff bulge in the front of Johnny Storm's pink panties. His face flustered and he placed his hands over his crotch to hide the much-reduced erection.

"See?" she said. "That's a good sign! You've been having trouble getting hard."

Johnny stared at his sister in disbelief. "How did you know that? I never told you that?"

Because I was hiding invisible in the room when you confessed to Reed how you had trouble getting hard, Sue thought. But she didn't say that. Instead, she placed her hands on Johnny's shoulders and adjusted the frills.

"I've been researching gender transition, Johnny. What happens to people who take hormones. I know you're not doing this of your own will, but it's happening to you, so I wanted to be prepared. The Human Torch looked back in the mirror. Still coming to terms with his androgynous—and increasingly feminine—appearance.

"Do I really need the panties too?" he said.

"It's a matching set," Sue said brightly. "Besides, I'm buying. We're not leaving until you have enough to replace all your old underwear."

Which Sue had ordered H.E.R.B.I.E. to throw out. When they got back to the Baxter Building, Johnny would find all he had was women's underwear...and that would be all he would ever need.

Sue Storm would make sure of it.
