John had only done one escape room and loved the experience, but most of his friends thought it was lame. He had tried to convince his mother to take him back, but she always claimed they didn't have the money for such frivolities. With this offer from No Escape, she would have no excuse.

John typed in the four digit code, and immediately the room lit up. A blast of disco music hit them as a small ball desecended from the ceiling and a smoke machine started to put a layer of fog on the floor.

"See Mom, we got this. Now to open this door," John started, but trailed off as his hand missed the door handle. He looked puzzled, and then realized he was light-headed as well. Then there was a thump, and as he twisted to look behind him the room spun and blackness took him.
