Jervale, the insatiable butler. (Anything goes)

Jervale's mind's eye traveled down into the tower, down into the deepest chamber he shared with the Reality Crystal itself. There, he found he was looking at himself, sitting cross-legged on the floor and writing his own profile. He briefly wondered how long it had been since he showered, noting his own greasy hair... He decided not to write that part down, even though he intended to give an honest account.

"I am Jervale, the first of the vassals of this tower and Princess Oda's first protector. Now, I serve as a butler to the princess and the others... or, really, more of a nanny. As in, I am required to prepare their meals, wash their clothes, and so on and so forth... Not in person, I have servants for it, but still. It is quite unreasonable that I share this responsibility with my sworn duty to protect the princess and the Reality Crystal from invaders.

Describing my own appearance is an odd feeling. It has been quite some time since I last gave it thought. I wear my dark hair long, kept from my eyes by a simple, long-faded green headband. I have dark eyes, but I barely ever open them now... I hardly need to. My long, pointed ears are my main tell as a demon. I wear brown robes somewhat like a monk's or a priest's, with faded ornate markings that... I confess I can no longer ascribe any meaning to. Beneath that, I wear plain undershorts, and usually those alone. I think I deserve a comfortable endless torment. My form is tall, thin but fit, pale but handsome, if I do say so myself... As much as I would love to tell you I'm spending all my time down in this basement training my body, I assume you're at least clever enough to put two and two together. Yes, I long since transformed my own appearance with the Crystal to a form that pleased me. That was so long ago now... I can no longer remember my original appearance.

My curse is the Curse of Infinite Possibility. With the power of the Reality Crystal at my beck and call, I can transform situations and challengers freely as I wish. While I once studied magic and the sword, I hardly ever fight a real battle now.

Does it sound like I am the most powerful tenant in this tower? Perhaps I am... However, if I am blessed with the greatest power, my curse is also the greatest, and not least because I am the only one fully aware of it.

Along with the erosion of my sense of self, I confess that I no longer remember what my own fetishes or sexual preferences are. Therefore, I treat most challenges as a chance to repeatedly tweak situations, parameters, and opponents until I find something I can derive pleasure from. Sometimes I change things in a fast and sweeping way... Other times, I change them gradually, one aspect at a time. Sometimes I meet challengers directly... Others, I am content to simply watch their transformation from afar. As such, readers of my challenges will find I rarely pick just one way I want to change things. You must forgive me if some of the transformations I try to bring myself pleasure with are of a somewhat eccentric or perverted nature. All I have left to live for is the vain pursuit of my own pleasure. I hope you will enjoy my repeated attempts to earn satisfaction as much as I have failed to.

Oh yes... Allow me to answer one more question that must be on your mind. If I can bend reality, why haven't I simply freed myself, or gotten rid of the other vassals I despise? The answer is that the Reality Crystal has a certain will and gravity of its own. In particular, when a curse is granted, it can rarely be taken away. My reality bending power would clash with those of the other vassal... And, if I try to escape, the tower will simply call me again.

I've tried. A lot."
