Jenny Malone

Jenny absentmindedly shoves the claw in her jacket pocket before closing up the box. She needs to get back to her sorority, preparations for their big Halloween bash will be starting soon.

She enters Zeta Zeta Zeta and chucks her jacket on the common room couch. Amanda is coming down the stairs with a big box of decorations.

“Hey, Amanda, what do you want me to start on?”

“Cobwebs, put them up in all the doorways.”

Jenny begins to sort the cobwebs as Amanda checks the bar.

“Shit! We’te Out of rum. Cathy, can you make a liquor store run?”

A slightly hung over Cathy answers. “Sure. Jenny, can I borrow your car?”

From a stepping stool Jenny answers. “Yes.”

“Where are your keys?”

“They’re in my jacket on the couch.”

Cathy slips her hand in the pocket. “Ouch!” She pulls out her hand. A small scratch runs along the back of her hand. She shakes and then tries the other pocket.

The keys jingle. “Got them! Anybody need anything?”

Nobody answers so Cathy heads out to Jenny’s car.
