Jennifer Escapes

Jennifer knew her likelihood of escape narrowed with each step toward the platinum blonde before her. Not wanting to meet the same fate as her former friend, Jennifer slowly lowered her head and released a deep breath. Then without a moments notice she slammed her head back against Stephanie's contorted features making her rear back and temporarily release her friend.

With Stephanie momentarily stunned Jennifer turned and ran toward the exit. Navigating through the near pitch corridors was slightly fear inducing but no where near what it could have been. After a few anxiety ridden minutes she reached the bottom of the stairs and bounded up them not stopping until she was out of the lake house. As she stood by the lapping water Jennifer swore she heard someone or something approaching from behind...
