Jenna shares her thoughts

Back at the arena, Jenna, Jess and Kris reported in and then heard disappointing news from the other group members that they came up with nothing either. Raena then told the threesome about finding a clue about where Sirus might have been last night, how they followed that clue, which led them to a small alley. After having tracked her whereabouts past that alley and having found no clues of her moving past it, Raena and team searched the alley, found marks in the dirt near the garden bushes of struggles and followed drag marks inside. There they found leather gear for women and something Siris wore. But the only thing they found in the clothing was a bit of silver dust.

This made Kris and Jess look up surprised and Jenna quite alarmed. "You sure about that, Raena? It wasn't dirt or sand?" Jenna asked. Raena was positive "It was easily picked up by the wind and glistered beautifully, almost magically, in the sunshine. Even felt a bit eerie, though that may have been my imagination.". Jenna looked away and put a fist in front of her mouth, thinking deeply about what this could mean. The signs all point at that the piles of dust were their friends, which made Jenna's heart sink into her stomach. Then she remembered the strange vision she had. It seemed like something she could not dismiss, certainly if it might have been Faye's last message of some sort. Maigoth. Should she tell her friends? They'd probably not believe her. Besides, she only had a name. First, she'd better do some info hunting first on this name, see what she can find out about this...whatever it may be.

"Jenna?". The oriental beauty got pulled out of her deep thoughts when Jess called her name. "Hmmmmm? Ah, sorry, it's just that...never mind. Girls, this might sound strange, but I believe that those piles of dust have something to do with our friends. I don't think that Faye and Siris are among the living anymore. I don't know what happened, but I think we should be careful and alert as it seems something might be after us. And that that something already got to our two friends. So it looks to be strong. And it might be strong in different ways than you might on first sight think is dangerous. So stay on your toes." Jenna warned her friends.

The effect of the warning on her friends was mostly as she dreaded. Some of them looked as if she just spoke a different language while the others looked as if she just made a joke. "Someone having a deathwish for us? Tell me something we don't know." Jess scoffed. Raena and Ravana looked at each other and grinned "What could be possibly out there that could take us down? I guess Faye and Siris are either doing their own thing or taking the piss with us right now.". Jess nodded "Although those two things seem a bit out there regarding Faye, maybe she finally got some humor in that tight arse of hers. Sounds more likely than someone snuffing them out. Relax, Jenna. Those two will pop up eventually and you will think yourself a fool for ever being worried, you'll see. We are talking about the two strongest and most capable members of the valkyrie here.". Ravana grunted in response "Hmph, speak for yourself…" to which Jess reacted with "What? You think you are anywhere as skilled or powerful as either Faye or Siris? Delusional…".

As Jess and Ravana argued, Jenna looked at Lind for a sign of believe, but she looked nowhere near concerned. Though she didn't look like Jenna was telling a joke either. Then Jenna turned to Kris, who did look back at her with concern written on her face. "You are serious, aren't you, Jen?" she asked under the heated discussion between Ravana and Jess, which Raena joined in favor of her sibling. Jenna nodded "There is someone, or something, out there that has it in for us. And we do best not to underestimate it.". She noticed Lind listening in on the conversation and looked at them both when she continued "I really believe that someone or something got to Faye and Siris and that we won't be seeing them again, as much as I hope that I am wrong. Please, be very cautious, I beg of you!". Lind started to show a little sign of taking Jenna's plea for caution serious, which Jenna was more than grateful for, while Kris nodded and said "I believe you, Jen. You are not one to make idle threats.". Jenna smiled back at her and said "Thanks, Kris. I just hope the others do too.".

Kris smiled back at her warmly, trying to make her following words sound more encouraging "I am sure they will. Your works will be stuck in the back of their heads. That, in combination with their warrior skills, will keep them safe from anything that can harm them, you can bet on that.". Jenna looked at the others with a dreadful look on her face when she said "I know they are strong. Faye and Siris were....or are, ah whatever, they were too. But if something gotten to them, I don't think their fighting prowess would've been tested. Their female weaknesses on the other hand… And we haven't trained them even close to as many times as sword, axe and hammer. If that were to be tested, I am way less certain we all would come out on top.". At that thought, both Jenna and Kris sighed deeply. Lind as usual kept a straight face, never showing what she really thought.

After a bit, everyone would split up. Jenna wanted to find more info so she could protect the group, Kris looked for some time on her own to think about the current situation, Jess and Ravana needed some time apart after a heated argument, Raena joined her sister and Lind went to do her own thing, as usual.
