What's next?
Jeff goes Outside
Jeff had left the building. He was patrolling around the perimeter looking for other ways to infiltrate this building.
He would have tried corrupting security, but their desk had too much traffic for him to be sure to get to someone without causing a scene or worse, raising alarm.
He'd try bumping into more people, but he was here to keep suspicions from being raised.
He was standing at the closed unmanned loading dock when he saw his opportunity arrive.
The mail.
As the truck backed into the dock Jeff suppressed a smile as he spotted the brunette pony tail in the mirror.
With the back up beeper ceasing the driver emerged from the cab coming around and up onto the dock.
"Good afternoon officer. Not often I find police waiting for me on the loading docks." She declared aloud in a chipper voice stopping for little more than a wave before throwing the roll up door open at the back of the truck open.
"Well I'd say I came just to help you out with your boxes..." Jeff began to flirt with a smile.
"But then you'd be in dereliction of duty, as well as uniform." The mail woman cut him off nodding at the poorly fitted slightly ripped uniform.
"I was actually going to say, but it's a post 9/11 world." Jeff interjected, deliberately changing his tone of voice and posture to come off as more serious and commanding of the situation. This woman had a confidence too her, that aluded to a strong will. Perhaps she wouldn't be so easily taken.
"Oh. One of these again. Names Melissa." Melissa uttered with exasperation, her shoulders sinking as she reached out a hand to shake with ****.
"Jeff." Melissa felt like her heart skipped a beat as he shook her hand. She wasn't sure why, but her instincts seemed to scream in both terror and attraction at the same time.
"So, what are we expecting to sift for? Potential bombs? Chemicals? Biohazard?" Melissa continued, obviously showing destination mail screenings weren't something new to her.
"We just received an abstract threat tip off. We'll have to look through it all." Jeff replied stepping onto the truck and putting his hands on one of the two buggies flagged for this address.
God bless bureaucracy. The need for something as simple as a post mark, or a legally binding physical copy. All that remained in this digital age beyond packages. All available to carry and spread the Idol's corruption.
Jeff infused the buggy with the Idol's energies as he removed it to the loading dock, careful to grab the other one as Melissa parked it on the dock and resecured the back of her truck.
"Shit. Where is my head." Melissa suddenly cursed aloud. "I should have pulled out an extra buggy so we can do the screening here and maintain integrity of the buildings security." She really didn't know where her head was, normally she would have actually been on top of it, but subconsciously her head was swirling with the influence of Jeff's pheromones.
"It's okay. It's probably fine that we do this inside. Its more precautionary follow up more than anything." Even better, Jeff thought. He won't just get a shipment of mail, he'll get in and through the mail lay the seeds of corruption with delivery to each individual desk. Then just one or two individuals and he'd be free to help back at the station.
Melissa didn't think anything of the oddly warm mail buggy as she tapped her access fob to open the door inside off the loading dock.
Before long the two buggies were in a freight elevator as it slowly crawled between floors.
"So... What's the deal with your uniform?" Melissa asked, the quiet was making her unusually uneasy, she had managed to resist fidgeting and even the allure of the idea of just kissing him to break the eerie tension... No suspense. Like watching a predator stalking you just wondering when it would strike. Or so Melissa was thinking, she undid her top uniform blouse button feeling a touch warm. She gazed over his body subconsciously enjoying his body.
Jeff smiled. "You wouldn't believe me if I told you." He could sense her body's confusion as instinct fought with an aroused subconscious all the while an unaware conscious mind sat between them practically helpless, or unaware.
"Try me, or lie to me." Melissa replied with a playful smirk. Why did she feel almost like she was back in highschool flirting with boys?
Jeff chuckled to himself. The truth might be just the thing to tell her. He could use it to gauge how much hold the corruption of the Idol had taken.
But it could also put her on guard against him and his advances. Something a lie would just plain avoid.
As he decided which to tell he neared the stop button on the lift, stepping between Melissa and the controls.
Does Jeff Tell The Truth? Lie? Stop the Elevator and take her there?
