Jayne explains

John thought back to various moments during Jayne's first week at the office. He had noticed her seemingly staring at him but he thought maybe she was just spaced out because she had a lot on her mind but now he realized years later that he recognized the look she had on her face. It was the expression of a lovestruck girl. He had seen it so many times in high school and after. This realization didn't make him uncomfortable or anythin ggv but he wanted a bit more info.

"Jayne. Why didn't you tell me about this?" John asked calmy.

"Oh uhm well I've thought about it a couple times over the years but I didn't want to risk making it awkward. I knew you wouldn't be disgusted or anything I wasn't afraid of that but I liked how things were plus you had Michelle and sometimes it did hurt a little bit seeing you two together but I was more happy for you than anything. I was pretty certain you didn't feel the same and I was okay with that. I still am I just can't believe this is how you had to find out." Jayne's voice was filled with sadness. John decided he needed to be alone and think about all this.

"Jayne, Michelle I have a lot to think about and I need to be alone for that so I am going home." He said as he closed the box of cameras and picked it up. "Ill contact one or both of you when I have come to some sort of decision." The women just nodded silently and watched as he left.
