Jaune?

It was... Jaune Arc (WTF?) who arrived from the nearby staircase at the lobby, stopping to catch his breath as it looked like he was a little winded.

"Jaune?" Ruby asked, "What are you doing here?"

"The General *huff* sent me *puff*," Jaune wheezed, still trying to catch his breath. "He realized *huff* that someone had to *puff* guard the vault door *huff* while you were inside. *wheeze* I came to *puff* tell you that me *huff* Ren, Nora, and *huff* Penny are at the front gate *huff* when I heard Weiss scream *puff* in agony, so I *huff* came here as *wheeze* fast as I could."

"That makes sense," Ruby commented. "Jaune's had a crush on you since Beacon, so it makes sense he'd come to your rescue."

"Oh come on, my scream wasn't that loud," Weiss argued.

"It hurt my ears," Ruby complained.

"Don't make me lift you up again!" Weiss threatened.

"'kay!" Ruby said while putting up her hands in compliance.

"Are you okay?" Jaune said as he approached Weiss, "Did something in this place hurt you?" He was really close to Weiss when he finally noticed her new headgear, and its curved crystal horn, which he attempted to touch. "Was it this... thing on your head?"

Feeling a little uncomfortable, Weiss used her new telekinesis to gently push Jaune away, causing him to slide on his feet towards the railing nearby while demanding, "Personal space, please."

"What the...?" Jaune said in confusion, " What just happened? How did you do that?"

"You like it?" Ruby said with excitement, "We got these new armor thingies with magical powers that let us do some neat things. Weiss can move stuff with her mind now. And me? Well watch this." She aims her gauntlet adorned right arm towards the empty area to the right of Jaune. "FIREBALL!"

A ball of fire shot out from Ruby's hand, just missing Jaune and hitting the wall on the other side of the massive lobby. The sight of the fireball going right passed him cause Jaune to freak out, and jump back, not noticing the railing right behind him until he hit it, causing him to fall over, and fall three stories to the ground floor below.

"Whoops," said Ruby.

"Great, Ruby," Weiss said, "you just killed Jaune."

"What? He's fine," Ruby assured, "We've all survived worse falls than that."

"But it's Jaune," Weiss said.

"You may not have noticed," Ruby explained, "but during the trip to Haven, he's improved a lot. I mean, he did save your life after all."

"True," Weiss admitted.

"Besides, he grown in more ways than one," Ruby continued, "He's not wearing that Pumpkin Pete hoodie into battle anymore."

"Pumkin Pete hoodie?" Weiss asked in confusion.

"Oh you didn't know?" Ruby chuckled, "This whole time since Beacon, that hoodie Juane always wore had a Pumpkin Pete symbol on it. It was hidden under his armor the whole time."

"Are you serious?" Weiss said before giggling with Ruby.

Just then both Blake and Yang appeared from the staircase with a confused look on their faces.

"Um... Ruby? Weiss?" Yang said, getting the two's attention.

"Hey Yang. Hey Blake," Ruby said with a wave.

"Is there a reason Jaune's laying on the floor downstair groaning in pain?" Blake asked. "And where did that ball of fire we saw come from?"

"Told you he's fine," Ruby said to Weiss.

"Okay, fair enough," said Weiss.

"Ruby, what happened to your arm?" Blake said with worry, "And Weiss, your head... that... horn?"

"Oh guys," Ruby said with excitement, "Check it out. I found these crazy jewelry pieces, that are actually dormant sets of armor that grow around whoever puts them on. It fuses to our bodies, sure, but we get some awesome new powers with it. Weiss's Unicorn armor lets her move stuff WITH HER MIND! While I can do a bunch of fire related stuff," She aims her armored arm again, "like this. FIREB-"

"Ruby don't start that again!" Weiss yelled.

"Sorry," Ruby apologized. "But I bet we can find something for the two of you too. Let's take a look."

"Guys, I don't like this," Blake said with worry. "This sounds like a bad idea. If you mean fused to you like you can't take it off, then we've got a bit of a problem. I mean... Yang and I came rushing over as soon as we heard that blood-curdling scream coming from Weiss ("It wasn't that loud," Weiss complained under her breath.). Plus there's... Yang can you help me out here?"

However, Yang wasn't listening to Blake. Instead (much to Blake's shock and annoyance) she was already with her little sister looking at the dormant armors, seeing if any would interest the blond brawler. "Ruby this is so cool," she commented, "you can kick some serious ass with that literal firepower you've got there."

"Heck yeah!" Ruby said as she high-fived Yang's robotic arm with her own gauntleted arm.

The sister kept looking over each of the armors until Yang caught sight of one in particular.
