Janet Lane (Overwhelmed Housewife)

The day started just like any other for Janet. Waking up in an empty bed. When she married her husband Henry, his family warned her that she was a workaholic. But he was always so sweet to her when they dated. But almost as soon as the rings were on their fingers his bad habits made themselves known. Now after only a year of marriage she barley sees the man let alone having any intimate time.

After getting dressed and finishing her morning routine, she went downstairs and began making breakfast. After a awhile her stepdaughter Miranda made her way down.

Miranda was definitely unique in Janet's eyes. She wore dark and revealing clothing. And always wore a very angry personality.

"Good morning Miranda. Any plans for today?" Janet asked hoping for some conversation.

Miranda simply shot Janet a cold glare and walked past the breakfast Janet made for her and left the house. Janet could only sigh in defeat. No matter how hard she tried she never made progress in creating a relationship with Miranda.

Dispite being nearly 20 Miranda acts like a moody teenager and her husband is never around. Even when he is he doesn't seem to care about Miranda treats her.

Thinking about how unwelcomed and unloved she feels in her own house made Janet even more depressed than usual. So in an attempt to cheer herself up she decided to take a long walk around the city.

During her walk she couldn't help but think of the negativity in her life. Her loveless marriage. Being ignored and disrespected by her bratty stepdaughter. And of course the boring schedule of being a neglected housewife.

She was so wrapped in her thoughts she didn't even realize she started walking down streets she wasn't familiar with. By the time she started to be aware of her surroundings she was standing in front of a Sex Shop called Mythical Pleasures.

Janet couldn't explain it but she felt herself being drawn in. So after making sure no one is watching her, she made her way inside.

She was shocked to notice the shop seemed so much bigger inside than it seemed to be outside. There were row after row full of different items and item descriptions. It honestly confused Janet. Most of the items seemed less like sex toys and more like accessories and everyday items. But she couldn't help but skim every aisle. Fascinated by every item.

But after awhile an item really grabbed her attention....
