She proceeded to list the details on Jane, the person whom she possessed. Jane lived just a bus stop away from Sy with her husband, Johnathan. She has multiple online chats with friends and seems to be interested in jewelry and other accessories.

In the meantime, Sy was in a fog, barely aware of what Kerrie had said. He was still taken aback by the fact that this was happening and how she acted like she was already moving on.

Kerrie looked up from her phone and leaned to the side, dipping into Sy's line of sight, trying to catch his attention. "You okay?"

A warmth bloomed in his heart when he heard the concern in her voice. "Yea..I just...never expected any of this to happen."

"Yea. Me neither." Their eyes met in silence for a moment before shifting away.

"Should we head back in?" Sy suggested.

"Yea sure."

Sy pushed open the door and stepped in. There was a row of white tables and chairs, a drink machine and a few workers behind the counter. Wait. What the— He stepped out and looked around. It was the right place. It was where the bar was. But everything inside was different. Confusion flooded his mind.

Seconds later, Kerrie realised it too. "Ok...Creepy."
