Jane gets a Pink Drink by Mistake

Chris and Jane were busy discussing how their lives were going when their drinks arrived. Chris got a glass of beer, but Jane had a small pink cocktail.

“Excuse me,” Jane said, “I ordered a beer.”

“Oh, I’m so sorry,” the waitress said. “This is on the house. I apologize so much.”

“Okay... no worries,” Jane said sipping the cocktail. It tasted kind of like bubblegum. But not in an artificial way. She found herself kind of liking it.

“I always like it when women get girly drinks,” Chris admitted.

“I don’t typically like them,” Jane said taking another sip. “But this one is... different.”

“You are not like most women, are you?”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean you’ve got this feminist look about you. Beer instead of fruity cocktails. Jeans instead of a sexy dress.”

Chris pointed at the woman in the red dress on the other side of the bar. “You wouldn’t be caught dead wearing something like that would you?”
