Jane apologizes to Sara

Mike stands by his locker for a moment, just watching Sara. She releases his hand, and unthinkingly wraps her arms around his waist, to rest head on his chest amorously. He can feel her grimace and pull away after a few seconds of displaying affection for him. No one has spoken with her in some time, and he just realized that she has only him now, no one else, and underneath it all, she doesn't even like him. An idea comes to mind and he snaps his fingers, Mike declares, "Ok, Sara. I'm going to make things better between you and Jane. How does that sound?"

She looks up at him slack-jawed with surprise as he retrieves the notebook and begins scribbling in it. She speaks her thoughts openly, "I'd like that. I miss her so much..." Her face suddenly take on a look of mistrust as she adds, "How? She hates me and how I dress now..." Realization dawns on her face, "What are you writing?!" She leans forward to look in the notebook, but is too slow. Mike has closed it and is smiling proudly. "It's done!" he declares.

"What did you do?" she asks, pulling down on her skirt, again. "Do you do something to her? To me? What?" Mike's only answer is to point to Jane, who is approaching. Jane usually strides boldly, ready to give anyone a piece of her mind, but right now she's hunched over and looking at her feet.

"No!" Sara whines. "What did you do?!" she asks, but Mike waves her off.

"She's just ashamed to have picked a fight with you. I thought it was best if she apologizes so you can be besties again. I noticed how lonely you are and figured you just needed someone for some girltalk, and all those girlie things chick do together. And here she is... ready to bury the hatchet."

"Hi Jane," he says when she is near as she avoids eye-contact, "Do you have something to say to Sara?" Mike is smug and quite pleased with himself. He all but twirls Sara so that the two girls are facing each other, awkwardly.

"Um, yeah, well..." Jane begins awkwardly. She does look up at Jane, eventually, with a hopefulness in her eyes. "I'm sorry! I'm so sorry for being mean earlier."

Sara bites her lip, unsure how to proceed.

Jane looks at Sara and uncomfortably presses forward with her apology, "I saw how hot you look, and I guess I was jealous. I think I was always jealous of those pretty girls with their feminine things..." She fidgets with her hands, one within the other, as she carries on, "I want to still be your friend. Can we pretend that never happened? I'm so sorry!" She wavers a bit as her face goes bright red in embarrassment, while she blurts out "Can you help me be like you? I think you're the coolest and sexiest girl in all the school and you have the best fashion sense..."

Sara looks horrified as she answers, "Oh my god! I'm so glad you said that!" She didn't want to say that. She wanted to shake Jane and tell her to snap out of it. Instead she takes both of Jane's hands in her own and says firmly, "Apology accepted, bestie! I can't wait to get you a new wardrobe." She wraps both arms around Jane, pulling her best friend into a big warm hug, hopping. Jane wastes no time hugging back and hopping with her.

Mike smiles broadly, "You two should go out shopping tonight! Sara can pick out all kinds of sexy clothes for you Jane. I can't wait to see your transformation."

Sara smiles worrisomely, she already knows what kind of clothes she's going to tell Jane to wear. All short dresses and skirts with lots of pink, high-heels, and plenty of accessories, and of course, no underwear. She can't believe it, Mike is going to make her turn her best friend into a hyper-girlie slut, too.

"Oh my god! I know exactly what to get you first! You're going to be so hot!" Sara tells Jane with false excitement.

Suddenly the two girls squeal in unison. They turn to Mike and say simultaneously, "Thank you, Mike. Thank you so much."

Jane giggles in character like a girlie schoolgirl, and quietly asks Sara, "Why would I thank, Mike?"
