Chapter 3 by MythicalPanther MythicalPanther

So, who are you and how did you get here?

Jace Richardson, 19 year old college student

Today was orientation for the community college you are attending. You took a gap year in between high school and college to make sure your head was on straight and that you were fully prepared maturity wise to deal with college and living on your own for the first time. Your mother, bless her soul, was lucky enough to make a biological breakthrough in a rare disease. She was offered a high paying job from a local company. Because of her job, she gives you an allowance every month. That allowance is enough to cover all amenities that your new apartment blind sided you with. "They didn't teach this in high school," you grumble to yourself as you pay the last of your bills, mostly soaking up your allowance. Once finished, you start reading the syllabuses again and the other papers you were handed for the first time.

You dive into the reading and unfortunately, all of the syllabuses are as you remember. Nothing missed, skipped, or misinterpreted. The only difference in the syllabuses were the names of the classes and teacher on the top of the first page. After setting them aside, you look at the other assorted pages you have. Most are normal, except on one piece of green paper.

Scanning the paper, you realize the subject is something you'd find in anime: Monster Girls! Now, being the skinny nerd who has only ever had one girlfriend, you know your fair share about them. You and your online friends had ridiculed someone online when they said they saw a cute harpy walking around his town. You probably should apologize to him, but that'll come later. According to this paper, they're real and the organization that helps monster girl integrate into this world is only 2 miles from you apartment. Getting back on track with the green paper you read your college's rules for if you become a sponsor. Most of them are common sense such as: No fucking on campus or you might get expelled, No excessive PDA while in class, Clothing must be worn at all times by you and the girl, no more than two girls at a time with you at school, etc. Apparently, when students started getting the chance to sponsor girls, they almost brought the college to ruin. Now the Alternate World Immigration Organization, or AWIO, rarely lets students from this college sponsor any monster girls. Setting the paper down, you get up and walk to the full body mirror in your room.

Standing at 5'10, you always considered yourself average looking with a good body. Your metabolism, being as fast as it is, never helped when you made your feeble attempts at gaining muscle mass, but it did help with looking lean. With dark brown hair, blue eyes and pale skin, you never really stuck out as being really handsome in the eyes of girls growing up. The main hinderance with your luck with the ladies is self confidence. The more attractive the girl, the more difficult it was to talk to her. If I sponsor a monster girl, I can just focus on their non-human attributes. Piece of cake right?

You go ahead and call the AWIO. The worst they can say is no. Being alone sucks, so it's time to try and fix that. Thankfully for the counselor at school, who sent a list of recommended students to the AWIO, it was decided that you were the only one eligible to be a sponsor. According to Melissa, the lady in charge of matching you, you fit a certain criteria that the school didn't know about. Apparently, only one student in your college is awarded with a sponsor opportunity this year. After a bit of talking, Melissa asked the big question that you've been waiting for, "Can you come in tomorrow after school for an interview and to possibly sponsor a girl?"

Can you?
