Jace!

"Hi, Jace!" You wave and approach him. His eyes go wide and he looks scared for a second as his head darts around, but he relaxes once he sees you.

"Oh, huff, hey Debbie."

{if JaceToNurse == True}"Are you... feeling better now?" You ask in a way that was not intended to be condescending at all but which probably did not fulfil its intended purpose.

"Yeah, Nurse let me out just a few minutes into class. Figured I may as well hang out in the Gym a while, since I was missing class anyway."

That makes sense! Sorta.{else}"Whatcha doing?"

"We- we're in a Gym. I'm exercising. You exercise in Gyms." Jace leans back against the wall a bit more. "Dellie's probably looking for me right now, she doesn't know where I am."

That sounds scary.{endif} The two of you get to talking a bit, and it turns out that he knows Newton somehow, and just got done doing a joint workout with him. {if@ SeenJace == True}He doesn't really need strength to use a crossbow, but it helps him relax.{else}He says that exercise helps him to relax.{endif}

"Plus, it's nice to spend some time on my own, away from Dellie, y'know?"

You can imagine.

"Well, I don't want to take up any more of your workout time{if Winning == 100}. You might beat me up again." Jace teases with a smile{elseif Losing.... == 100}, since you're probably wanting to kick my ass next time." Jace gives you a wink{else}. Newton'd kill me if he knew I was doing that." Jace grins at you{endif}, before leaning back against the wall and shutting his eyes to relax.

{if Workout == 0}You've already done both of your workouts for today, but you'd feel like it was showing off if you told him that.{else}He's got a point. You should probably get to it, then!{endif}

On your way back into the main section of the Gym, you pause and turn back to him with a smile. His eyes are still closed. Cupping one hand to the side of your mouth, and doing your best Delilah impression (which is passable only because her voice is quite like yours), you call out "Oh, there you are J!".

His eyes immediately shoot open and his head whips around, trying to find the source, as you run off into the Gym giggling.
