Sliding a hand over her back, well, the horse part of her back anyways, you give a nod. "I would be honored to be carried by such beauty. I am in your care."

With that she cups her hands and helps you up on her back. "I... I'll take it slow okay?"

Then off you go, with her walking at a moderate pace after you give her basic directions. You had never ridden a horse before, but luckily she wasn't exactly a horse. Not being any sort of expert, you still sensed she moved in such a way as to made the ride for you as easy as possible. Your hands found her waist as a handhold, causing her to blush adorably.

It was an enjoyable ride, and at some point the two of you began talking while enjoying the scenery. It didn't matter what you were talking about, it was the companionship that mattered. Over time Catrice began to open up more, marveling at how strange it was to be under an endless sky, how to pavement and concrete felt under her hooves as opposed to the soft grass she was so used to, and more.

You learn that, despite her equine nature, Catrice wasn't a vegetarian and actually enjoyed all kinds of food, provided they weren't too spicy. The topic of her stray arrow came up as well, which caused her to breath a long suffering sigh. "Yes, I'm truly sorry about that, I was trying to show off. Regardless of which myths one reads, the one constant when it comes to centaurs is their penchant for archery. It's written in the stars, quite literally. Sadly, it seems to be a talent I don't possess. I've been tempted so many times to simply give up, maybe even send myself to a different environment entirely where customers never venture. Nobody has ever outright laughed at my ineptitude, but I could always see it in their eyes. It... Hurt..."
