It was occupied

Eva had barely closed the door after dragging Donovan's limp body inside when a voice from the inside made her jump.

"Who's there?", a man demanded. She deduced it must be Kaiser, and quietly cursed. She had hoped to find the room empty so she would have time to prepare an ambush, but it looked like her streak of rotten luck wasn't quite over just yet. She tried to think of how she could avoid suspicion, made all the more harder in the peculiar state she found herself in.

She heard footsteps in her direction, and the unmistakable click of a gun. She didn't have much time.

"Hi!", she managed to say, right as a very suspicious Kaiser rounded the bend and faced her. She did a double take, for he had a pistol trained right at her. He seemed to be on edge, likely because of the deal that was about to go down - the thing she was here to stop.

He took a second to glance her up and down, clearly surprised. His eyes went to Donovan, lying slumped on the ground behind her. "You better have a very good explantation for this, Miss...?", he said, his finger on the trigger.

Eva realized the facade of a tech executive wouldn't make any sense given her peculiar situation - naked, with an **** Donovan at her feet. She had to switch tracks to something he wouldn't find suspicious. What profession would be a perfect cover?

"I'm Mona. I'm a-", she replied, hesitating for a moment before steeling herself. She had come too far to give up now. "I'm an escort, hired by Mr. Donovan for your...entertainment. He had a little too much to drink, but insisted on accompanying me to your room."

Kaiser's demeanor changed. He chuckled, suddenly eyeing her body with keener interest. She could tell he liked what he was seeing. "...and your clothes?", he asked.

She blushed. "I-I'm a fan of your music. I thought I needed to make a good first impression.", she said, lowering her gaze and acting starstruck.

To her relief, he seemed to buy it. He lowered his weapon and tucked it in his belt.

"There.", he said, gesturing towards the bed. "I'll be there in a minute."
