It starts normal

The sun wakes you even before the alarm clock. You stretch yourself and get up. It’s Friday, so you have only half a day of lessons. You take a short shower, choose some comfy clothes from your wardrobe and head to the kitchen. Your mother is already there when you enter and makes some coffee. She wears a business outfit.

“Good morning, dear,” your mother greets you and sounds hopefully, “will you thank god with me for this beautiful day?”

“Mom, no morning prays on schooldays,” you reply and take a slice of toast, “I have to get the bus in twenty minutes. If you insist, we can do this in the evening. Are you going to office today?”

“Just a few hours, for a meeting,” your mother says and sounds a little tense, “and … did you thought about what I offered you yesterday. The great chance for you.”

“Mom, you know my decision,” you reply and roll your eyes, “so why do you even ask?”

“But Olivia,” your mother tries again surprising ****, “your connection to god is very important. Terrible things could happen if you leave the holy path. Please don’t just brush this off.”

“Sorry, but no,” you reply out of patience, “you can try to **** me if you want, but tomorrow I’m off age. I can make my own decisions. And now I have to go to college. I love you, mom, but this whole private-mass-stuff is just ridiculous. Please don’t be mad or sad.”

With this you finish your breakfast, take your bag and leave the house. You don’t see a single tear running down your mother’s cheek. You are indeed a little upset with your mother, while you head to the bus stop. She tries to **** church and religion in your life quiet often. And sometimes she can get quite annoying or even slightly intolerant. Once you had a friend whose parents were a member of Voodoo religion, but your mother forbids you to meet him, because she says Voodoo is evil.

At the bus stop, Laura already awaits you smiling. Two other students you hardly know also take this bus. And only moments after you two begin to chat, the bus arrives. Laura and you look for two free seats together, but only find some separated. You just decided to sit down next to a girl you now from one of your courses, when somebody grabs your wrist and pulls you closer to a seat next to you. You look around angry and see the guy who holds you is Russel. One of the athletes in college, but also a huge idiot.

“Hey babe, why don’t you keep me company?” Russel asks with his typical arrogant grin, “you can sit on my lap if you are a good girl.”

Russel is a member of the college’s baseball team. He is strong, muscular and to be honest, not bad looking. But he also is quite dumb and arrogant. He believes because of his success on the field he can do everything he wants and all girls immediately fall for him. He also is one of the bullies regularly torturing your friend Jay. A year ago, you turned his advances down in public and since then he tries to get you in bed somehow to prove his manliness. His methods go from aggressive flirting to groping and threatening.

“Let me go or you will regret it, Russel,” you warn him harsh and rip your writs out of his grip, “I prefer the company of smarter lifeforms. Like potatoes.”

Russel needs a moment of thinking to understand the insult. But when he finally realizes what you just called him you are already on a seat and out of his reach. The rest of the bus drive is eventless. The girl next to you only one time looks up from her mobile phone to search for some headphones. Finally, you arrive at college.

The Shadow Hills elite college is, like the name suggests, a college for either very smart students, privileged kids from rich families or great athletes who increase the fame of the college. You are among the last group, but your grades very good too. And unlike some spoiled brats, you never had to bribe or seduce a teacher for good grades. And speaking of people who would do this, you just arrive in time to see to the queen bee of the college bullying her latest victim.

Megan Prince. Blonde, beautiful and sadistic. Her father is a local businessman and owns shares in many companies. He also is a high member of city council and basically runs it. The mayor is more of his puppets than an ally. Megan’s mother is unknown to you, but her father changes his affairs regularly, so you assume she cares little about her family. But the power and the money of the prince family make the bitch queen untouchable by the coward dean.

In most cases you are happy when Megan ignores you. As a top athlete of the college, she tried to make you one of the bitches follow her everywhere. But just like Laura you refused to bully others just because she demands it. However, unlike Laura you are fit, popular and a beauty too. This makes you her arch enemy by choice.

You don’t know what the girl she bullies right now had done. Likely nothing and Megan just picked her by coincidence. It seems Megan wasted a bottle of expensive glitter to humiliate the girl by letting it snow over her. Well, when Megan was done having her fun, the poor crying girl was dusted with lots of glitter while Megan and her bunch of sluts laugh. One of them films everything to have **** material against the victim.

Standing up to Megan, like you did sometimes in the past, only leads to trouble, so you decide to wait a moment until Megan loses interest and leaves. As soon as she and her pack of bitches are out of sight you help the poor girl up, comfort her a little and help her get rid of most of the glitter. You know Megan will hear about this and is clearly not pleased, but you couldn’t care less about her feelings. As long as you avoid her, there is a good chance she forgets soon.

The first two lessons are remarkable boring. Because of the year’s final exams, that will start in a less than three months, the teachers just repeat old stuff and gives you some exercises. It’s nice that he lets you all prepare for the exams, but you are among the people who know the stuff already.

After a short break, the double lesson in math starts. Professor Baker is a nice guy. He is very young, 29 to be precise, which makes him the youngest teacher at the college. He also knows how to keep the attention of the students without getting annoying. And he is very good looking. He is not only handsome, you also met him several times in the local fitness studio. He keeps his body in shape.

His popularity, fairness and handsomeness make him highly sought after by female students and he is on good terms with the most male students too. There are rumors he had sexual relationships with several students, but you are not sure if this is true. It is almost a shame, when the bell ends the lesson and starts the lunch break.

“Olivia one moment, please!” professor Baker suddenly stops you and sends some students away, who wanted to chat with him, “I would like to talk to you for a moment.”

“Sure, sir,” you agree a little surprised, “is there a problem?”

“No, unless you want to tell me about one,” professor Baker says calm and friendly, “I heard tomorrow is your birthday, you turn 18 and reach adulthood, right?”

“I’m coming off age, that’s right,” you answer a little shy, “but … that’s all that will change.”

“Are you sure?” professor Baker asks and smiles a little, “come on. You are in the prime of your life, far from ugly and as much as I heard very popular. I also heard that your family situation is not as relaxed or stable as it could be. Please forgive me my curiosity, but I just wanted to check if everything is alright. You are among my best students and I would hate if anything troubles you so close to the final exams.”

“Thanks, professor, that’s very kind,” you mumble and blush a little, “but everything is alright. I have some trouble with my mother and her strong religious believing, that’s true. But I don't think there are any major problems on the way.”
