It’s time to get to work

After Kevin finished having sex with the twins, he decided to go confront Krystal with Emily’s help. He thought having someone else come along would help just in case something went wrong. He just needed to follow her for a bit before getting her alone and kissing her. He drove to the campus about twenty minutes before Krystal's class ended. Emily waiting in a nearby building with a view of the courtyard if she slipped past me, or took a different route than what he intended. She had an art class on the third floor, so he waited by the elevator knowing that she would come there by herself or with her friends. Kevin knew that only the staff had access to the elevator, but since Krystal is the headmistress’s daughter, he knew she had access to it too.

Kevin made his way up the stairs as he passed by a woman easily lifting a box filled with supplies.

“Hey, could you help me unpack some of this stuff? I could really use a helping hand.”

Kevin looked at his watch and saw that he still had some time left before Krystal's class ended.

“Sure, why not.”

He followed the woman into a nearby classroom that was filled with boxes on the other side of the room. She set the box she was holding on the ground as Kevin looked inside one of the huge boxes in the center of the room. Kevin didn’t know what he was expecting, but he didn’t expect it to be empty as he heard a clicking sound. Kevin turned around to see the woman locking the door. Kevin realized that he had been tricked.

“You didn’t think that you were going to target my boss so easily.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. Why did you lock the door, I’ve got things to do?”

“It’s no use acting dumb. We’ve got all the information we needed from your little conversation with Rick.”

“You were listening in. Well, if you don’t want to get hurt, then get out of my way.”

Kevin hoped that he could bluff his way past this woman since his power isn’t meant for attacking, and he didn’t want to add another person to his list of girlfriends. Plus, his power isn’t instantaneous, so she would probably capture him anyway before falling in love with him.

“You don’t have to worry about me. I was chosen specifically, because I can handle pretty much anything.”

Kevin hoped her power wasn’t that impressive, so he could knock her out and accomplish his real goal. He looked around the room and found a small book on one of the tables. He grabbed it and chucked it at the woman. Kevin immediately rushed forward to tackle her onto the ground, whether she tried to block the book or move out of the way. She did neither as the book phased through her as if she didn’t exist. Kevin himself ran through her into the locked door.

“Are you holding back? You shouldn’t do that with me. You’re not getting out of this room without the key unless you use your power.”

Kevin couldn’t touch her which means that he couldn’t use his power on her either. Kevin threw a feint left hook and tried to punch with his right. She saw through it as she grabbed Kevin and flipped him onto the ground.

“Did I mention that I’m an expert close combat specialist?”

Kevin tried to trip her, but his foot when straight through her once again as he was kicked in the face. Kevin got up and ran to the other side of the room before taking out his phone and starting texting for help when a hand reached through his body and slapped the phone out of his hand. He was pushed against the wall as she stomped all over his phone, smashing it into a million pieces. Kevin got up and rushed toward the exit. Once he got to the door, he banged on it and screamed for help as loud as he could. Unfortunately, it didn't last long as he was grabbed from behind and felt a pain in his neck. Kevin’s world started spinning as he fell to the floor and was knocked ****.

Kevin woke up in a prison cell. There was nothing in the room except for a bed and a toilet. He stared at the bars in front of him wondering how he got here. The woman who beat him up obviously didn’t know about his power which means that she was most likely telling the truth when she said that they were listening in on his conversation with Rick. Kevin didn’t even think about the possibility that Rick’s phone could’ve been bugged. He checked his clothes and found that all of his other items were taken from him. He had **** but to sit and wait until someone came looking for him.

Eventually, Krystal was outside my cell with a curious look on her face while being flanked by two other women who looked unfamiliar to Kevin. However, they looked exactly alike, so he assumed that it was the missing twins.

“Hey Kevin, I just have to know what your power is?”

“I don’t have any power.”

“You don’t need to play dumb. I’ve already listened to the conversation with Rick and know that you have a superpower, but you didn’t tell him.”

“What are you doing to do about it? Are you going to stick your other bodyguard on me?”

“You must mean Zoe. No, she’s my personal kidnapper. I mean what else would she be useful for if not infiltrating people’s houses and getting the people I need. It doesn’t matter what precautions you take if she can just walk right through them. That’s how I got my personal bodyguards. I am curious though, when did you manifest your powers. You’re not one of my customers, so how did you get Stardust in your system.”

“Who knows?”

“Was it after my birthday dance party spectacular?”

Kevin’s eye twitched and that was all Krystal needed for confirmation.

“I see. That makes sense, things did get a little out of hand when my experiment didn’t go the way I intended.”

“What do you mean?”

“I’m asking the questions here.”

Kevin needed to do something instead of just listening to Krystal talk.

“Nora and Cora, we can take her and end this **** once and for all.”

Neither of them moved or blinked as Krystal started laughing.

“They won’t listen to you. They only listen to me and my orders. I might’ve used my power to make them more obedient to me.”

Kevin squinted at her, “It’s not mind-control though.”

“It is, but it has the side effect of breaking their mind, so I don’t want to use it on you if I don’t have to.”

“Don’t lie to me. If it was mind control, then you would’ve used it on me to make me tell you what I know without a second thought. You don’t care about me.”

Krystal laughed, “You’re right. My power’s a bit more complicated but useful. All the more reason why I need to know why you can permanently keep your powers. I’ve only been able to get my own special **** called Stardust X which gives me my powers for a couple of weeks instead of an hour or two like the original, but it’s still only temporary and has some side effects if I don’t take the ****.”

“Even if I knew, I wouldn’t tell you.”

“You should be more cooperative. I’m the only reason why they haven’t already started experimenting on you to figure out the reason behind your permanent powers. I’m going to leave you with your thoughts for a bit, and when I come back, I want more of your cooperation.”

Krystal left the cell with her bodyguards as he stared at the ceiling, he stared at it for a while thinking that he was going to end up as a test experiment as he made his way to the bars on his cell. If only he had the power to break out, then he could get more information about this place and get out of here. Kevin closed his eyes and pressed his head against the cold metal bars as he slipped through them as if they weren’t there. Kevin was outside of the cell, and he realized that making people fall in love with him is not his power.
