Every Kiss begins with K

Fall in love with a single kiss

Chapter 1 by ChocolateAxek ChocolateAxek

Kevin woke up with a massive headache, no doubt from the massive party he went to last night. He looked at the time and realized that he was going to miss his appointment with his sister. Kevin rushed to get ready and drove to Bernie’s Breakfast. It didn’t take long for him to spot his sister sitting by herself in one of the booths. She always had this powerful presence that made everyone in the room turn in her direction. He couldn’t tell if it was her natural disposition or her otherworldly beauty that caused it to happen. Either way, he quickly made his way over and sat down.

“You’re late.”

“Sorry, I had a long night last night.”

“Studying or partying?”

“Would you believe me if I said studying?”

“No, because you still have a piece of a girl’s hair stuck to the side of your head.”

“Really?”

Kevin tried brushing his hair to get rid of it only to his sister smile knowingly at him.

“That was a cheap shot, sis.”

“Maybe if you were studying, then this wouldn’t have happened. What party did you go to this time?” said Karen as she took a sip of her coffee.

“I went to Krystal’s birthday dance party spectacular. It was a lot of fun even though I can’t remember the end of the night so much.”

“I would be more careful whose parties you go to. I’ve heard some rumors that she had connections to the last two people who mysteriously disappeared in the last couple of months.”

“Could it just be a coincidence since Krystal is probably the most popular person on campus and is well known throughout the city as a party enthusiast?”

“It's possible, but it's never bad to be a little cautious. Though my gut’s telling me she’s guilty.”

“I guess your right. Besides, we came to discuss something other than my party habits.”

Karen reaches into her purse, pulls out an envelope, and puts it on the table.

“That’s right. Here’s the money from Aunt Irene. She specifically told me to tell you to use it for school and nothing else,” said Karen as she stared deeply into my eyes.

“Sis, I’d never,” Kevin says as he takes the envelope from her.

“If you ask for more don’t expect me to bail you out.”

“Don’t worry, I’ve got myself a part-time job as a programmer to pay for anything that Aunt Irene’s check can’t pay for.”

“By the way, how are things with Angel?”

“I broke up with her after catching her going through my wallet while I was sleeping.”

“Yikes.”

“Yeah, yikes.”

“I’m positive that great things are around the corner for you.”

“Thanks, sis. I’ll talk to you later.”

Kevin got up and turned around to leave when he felt his sister grab his hand.

“Trust me, things do get better. I’ll see you later.”

Kevin decided to drive to school since his first class of the day starts soon. Kevin walked to class barely paying attention to anything around him as he thought about Angel. He wondered if all the time she’s been together with him was just so she could steal money from him. He was sure she wasn’t that kind of person when he first started dating her or maybe he just misjudged her in the first place. It was only until recently that she started asking him for money. As he was lost in his thoughts, he didn’t notice someone rushing through the hallway right toward him. She slipped and toppled into him making them both crash onto the floor. Kevin’s headache got worse as he found himself kissing the top of her forehead. It was weird because Kevin could tell that something special happened at that moment even though nothing appeared different. Though he did enjoy the sensation of whoever it was breasts pressed up against him.

The woman quickly got up from on top of him and apologized for running into him as she dashed away. The big-chested blonde was out of sight before he could say anything else as he made his way to class. Kevin upon thinking about it realized that he knew who that was. Her name was Emily, and she was in my English Class with Professor Booker. She must have been in quite the rush for something. Kevin didn’t think about it anymore as he continued walking to class.

Emily rushed through the hallways upon learning that someone was breaking into her car. She had to get there fast otherwise they could steal all of her stuff. The most important thing inside was her laptop and it contained a lot of valuable information that she couldn’t let anyone else have. Did someone find out that she’s Trickster295? She shook her head at the possibility since they would probably comfort her directly about it or call the police rather than break into her car, probably. Emily was in such a rush that she ran into this guy on her way. Everything happened so fast for her, but she could feel his lips on her forehead, and a wave of warmth flowed throughout her body. She quickly got up, took a look at him, and thought he was hot before apologizing and rushing back to her car. Eventually, she made it to her car to find her ex-boyfriend, Geo, hanging out outside of her car. Emily scanned her car and didn’t find any evidence of him trying to break in or any tools to do it either.

“What are you doing outside my car, Geo?”

“I just wanted to talk about us.”

“There is no us. There is nothing between us.”

“Emily, I know you're mad about the incident at your house.”

“You cheated on me with my twin sister.”

“I was high on and mistook her for you. I told you it won’t happen again.”

Emily already knew he was full of crap since she hacked into his phone and found evidence to the contrary. He’s been cheating on her for weeks before she found out. Her sister hadn’t admitted to dating her boyfriend but knew it was something that she would do and laugh at her behind her back.

“I told you already that it's over. I also can’t believe you got my friend Rachel to lie to help you out. Someone breaking into my car was just an excuse to get me to come to see you.”

“She just wanted to help us get back together.”

“It’s my fault, I didn’t tell her the true reason why we broke up which is the only reason why she would help scum like you.”

“Emily, please”

“Just don’t, besides I have a new boyfriend who's way better than you could ever be.”

Why did she say that? She didn’t know anyone like that. Well, that handsome guy she ran into might fit the bill.

Geo's face scrunched up in anger before forcing a smile on his face.

“Emily, that guy can’t treat you the same as me.”

“You’re right. He treats me way better. Now, get out of my way.”

Emily got into her car and ignored Geo’s pleas as she drove off campus and back home. Surprisingly, she forgot about Geo, and her thoughts quickly focused on that hot guy she bumped into. The more she thought about him, the more her love for him grew even though she knew nothing about him. It was a strange feeling, but a pleasurable one as thoughts of him washed everything else away. By the time she got home, she had to know more about him. She felt that her life would never be complete without him. Opening up her laptop, she quickly hacked into the school’s database and searched for a picture of the mystery man until she found him. Kevin Brown is a freshman at Eternal College just like her. She licked her lips as she muttered, “I’ve found you.”

“I’m coming for you.”
