It's an even match

The sucker punch...er, sucker "blast", earlier didn't help you out. But at least you didn't go down in one blow. That would have been an embarrassment you'd never live down. Many would have cried foul at the cheap shot, but you've been in enough fights, real fights, to know there's not such thing as a "dirty trick". When you fight for real, you're playing for keeps. Anything goes. Jinx saw an opportunity and she took it. Simple as that.

Thankfully, she doesn't have any raw combat ability to take advantage of your newfound handicap. That's not to say that she's no threat. She's just a bigger one now that your moves are hampered by the big ass bruise forming on your chest.

Plus she knows the area quite well, and its only a token effort to manipulate the environment to her favor. At one point, she was able to cause a gas line to burst and set it on fire. The heat burned the back of your uniform off and it felt significantly uncomfortable with your helmet baking your head for awhile, but you avoided taking any real damage.

She hasn't come out of your exchange unharmed though. You've already torn her dress to shreds by manipulating a wire fence that got shot into a thousand pieces of shrapnel from an errant explosion that happened at some point along the way. You were able to Pause the pieces and keep them from shredding the both of you alive, but a few lines of red were visible on her skin from where a few had shot farther than the main group. Your uniform protected you from the worst of it, even as you two continued battling through the floating pieces of wire, but the same couldn't be said of her dress.

By the time the two of you made your way out of the blast zone (even if you were both fighting while doing so), your Pause had run its course and the wires flew forward without causing anymore harm to either one of you. Still, her dress clung to her body by only a dozen or so strings. In a quick melee exchange, all it took was one good grab and the dress was easily torn from her body. She was mildly amused by the move, and tried to use her barely clothed form to trip you up.

Unfortunately for her, Jinx's earlier trick had cost her any chance of that maneuver working. As much as you enjoyed the show she was giving, you did not let your guard down by ogling her anymore than you had to.

Ten minutes had passed since the fighting began, and you find yourself more weary than you'd expect. Either that initial attack hit harder than you thought and is only just now catching up with you in full, or something else is at work. Whatever the case, Jinx isn't looking fit for a battle of attrition either.

You both were reaching your limit. The question is, who will walk away with the victory?
