You win!

Perhaps it's a bit cliche, but you could tell that the next exchange between you two would determine who won and who lost. Whether or not that feeling was a legit sense or something your weary mind convinced you was a thing didn't matter at that point in time. You fully intended to decide everything in one last move. If you failed, then you were fucked out of luck.

She launched another wave of her power at you, causing you to duck and roll beneath it (jumping would not have been the best option, since she was already preparing to fire off another wave and you lost track of your remote early in the fight). You've stuck as close to the ground as you could without sacrificing mobility to dodge every wave she fired at you. You're not sure what she hopes to accomplish if they directly hit you, but the waves already wreak havoc on the land behind you. But soon enough you begin getting too close to her liking and she prepared a small "bubble" around her to keep you from getting any closer. However, this actually works against her, even if she has yet to realize it.

Shortly afterward, you toss a sports drink bottle you grabbed when a vending machine fell victim to a stray blast by Jinx. The bottle's lid pops off, drenching her in blue fluid. She quickly shuts her eyes closed to keep it out of her eyes, but she reflexively moves her arms to block what she originally perceived to be an explosive of some kind. In doing so, she ends up losing concentration of her bubble, and she only had the smallest window to realize how badly that reaction cost her when she opens here eyes for a fraction of a second and sees you charging directly into her.

The impact isn't enough to hurt either of you all that much beyond aggravating the wounds already present, but you knock the air from her lungs and quickly restrain her hands above her head while keeping her legs pinned beneath yours.

You're both tired, sweaty, dirty, and look a right mess. Your helmet flew off some time ago, but she was never able to get a good look at you face. You admit, you're certainly enjoying the way her breath hits your naked face, and judging by the blush on her face she enjoys the closeness just as much as you do.

"You know...you're a lot cuter...than I thought you'd be..." she says between breaths.

"And you're...still as pretty...as when we first met..." you reply.

"Flatterer," she smiles.

"Just telling it like I see it."

The two of you spend the next minute or so catching your breath until it evens out.

"Looks like you win, Bucket Head," Jinx replies.
