It's an ancient Jedi enclave

You fly the ship over the place you felt the strange disturbance from. There is nothing but a bunch of ruins, that have been reclaimed by nature ages ago.

Ranvi: What is that place...? The **** is strong here, yet it is... unnatural...

Lana: I know what it is! It's an ancient Jedi enclave!

Ranvi: What...? Here? I have never heard of it!

Lana: It was the second most important centre of the Jedi order, save Coruscant, back in the old days. But eventually, it has been abandoned and it lies like that ever since...

Ranvi: What has happened to it...?

Lana: Many things... During a war between Jedi and Sith, Darth Malak, the leader of the Sith Empire at the time, bombarded the enclave from orbit, shattering the place entirely and killing hundreds of Jedi inside.

Ranvi: That's terrible!

Lana: Indeed... He was looking for Revan, who was thought to be at the enclave, but Malak was wrong. Nonetheless, he weakened the Jedi order considerably.

Ranvi: Haven't the Jedi tried to retake the enclave ever again?

Lana: They did try it once. It was hard, as the place was still haunted by the pain and suffering of all those killed in the bombardment. The **** preserved their last emotions and it was affecting the Jedi returning here. They constantly felt the lure of the dark side due to that factor. But it was a short lived attempt... When the remaining three Jedi masters convened here with the Jedi exile, Meetra Surik on how to defeat the Sith triumvirate, that has destroyed the entire order, only a dozen Jedi remained, most of whom were hiding. Then, Darth Traya, one of the triumvirate members, killed the three Jedi masters, but spared the exile.

Ranvi: How the hell do you know this...?! I have never heard or read about this!

Lana: We weren't taught about it in galactic history class, true, but I have done my own research on the subject! It's all in the Jedi archives!

Ranvi: Who wrote that down...?

Lana: After that, Meetra defeated the Sith triumvirate and set out to rebuild the Jedi order. She knew a few **** sensitive people that she had encountered throughout her journey in the galaxy and trained them as a new generation of Jedi. She intended them all to be gray Jedi, so that there wouldn't be Sith or Jedi in the future, only all knowing balanced **** users. It worked for a time, but as you know, the Jedi returned to their older and "purer" ways. Though some elements remained, like the Special ****, to preserve some of Meetra's legacy.

Ranvi: Wow, what a story. What has happened to her anyway?

Lana: All these things happened after Revan left known space to find Vitiate, the true Sith emperor in the unknown regions. Meetra sensed him through the **** and went after him, alone. Ultimately, they failed to defeat the emperor and Meetra was struck down by one of the Sith lords, while Revan was captured by Vitiate. Later, he was rescued, but that is a story for an other day!

Ranvi: Oookay... so... what do we do now? I don't think we should just wander into such an old and dark place! Besides, we have a mission to do!

Lana: You are right, but still...! This place is of great historical importance! I would like to explore it, only a little! To walk the path many Jedi walked before us would be a dream came true!

Ranvi: Aren't we doing that in the Jedi temple on Coruscant too? Well, you are flying the ship, it's your call, but I wouldn't want to go near that strange **** phenomenon if I were you!

Lana (thinking): Hmm... Should I do a little exploration...? Or go after the Rancor...?
