Chapter 20 by Gfoxx2 Gfoxx2

If those are level one tits, I can't imagine what level three is like

It's all fun and games until you realize you care about someone

As much as you would love to be able to fucking teleport... you kind of have to buy the titty upgrade. At the very least, you owe it to Morgan to make her life with those monsters easier, seeing as it's your fault she's got them at all. Sure, she seems to enjoy them, but you can't help but feel guilty about the whole thing.

So that's one thing out of the way. You're buying the titty upgrade. And as much as you really want to blow your wad, you kind of have to decide against purchasing anything else. At this point, you're excited to go all in on buying yourself ridiculous reality bending shit, but you're still not sure about anything that changes how people treat you. Something tells you it would feel like using cheat codes in a game you haven't finished on your own yet. So that right there puts Friends in High Places right out, no matter how useful it would be. And Closer to the Heart is even more dubious. There's no way you're going to do anything shitty enough to make Morgan lose love points with you. The perk itself seems like it's offering you a catch 22; if you're a good boyfriend, you don't need it, and if you're a bad boyfriend, why would you care about her love score anyway? And there's no way you're ever going to be a bad boyfriend. You're going to be the best goddamn boyfriend ever.

And as far as the choices for Morgan, you know you're not buying her the ultimate sunblock. What was it she said back on your first date? Something like, "I'm dressed goth right now. That doesn't mean I won't be wearing something else tomorrow." Which kind of tells you everything you need to know. She's a spooky vixen at the moment, but in a few years, maybe she'll change up her style. And in any case, it's another purchase that'll permanently alter her body. That seems like a bad boyfriend move just based on principles, right there.

Shoulder to Cry On is the only other perk available you might consider. Is there any downside to it? It's not physically altering, but it does change Morgan permanently in a small way. Do you have the right to buy something like that for Morgan? Where does consent enter into this magical bullshit?

...Should you just tell Morgan about the app?

...

...

Fuck.

You should, huh? She's your girlfriend now, and you made her tits giant without her consent, even if it was on accident. She has a right to know that you have reality altering magic powers, even if they are cloaked behind a badly designed smartphone app. You've only known this girl for a few month, and then been dating for, what, half a day? And now you realize you can't do her dirty like that, even retroactively.

With growing dread in your mind, you send off a text to Morgan asking if she's busy around lunchtime tomorrow and get ready to drive home. Hopefully she's available, because you're beginning to think that the sooner you can deal with this, the better. A moment later, Morgan responds in the affirmative, and suggests a local cafe she's a fan of.

So that's it then. The die is cast. You're going to tell Morgan about your magic phone app.

Hoo boy. Tomorrow's going to be a hell of a day, huh?

Why does doing the right thing after you've done the wrong thing still make you feel so bad?
