It's Exposition time!

"First off, I am Circe, the host for this season, and welcome to all our contestants on Harem Hotel!" Circe said, as she gestured to the contestants. "As the contestants, you will compete for our dear Marcus Masters' affection. Your objective is to reach 100 Victory Points, or VPs. To gain these VPs, you will have to do various acts that please the Master, though only the first time for each contestant counts..."

"Excuse me!? What on Earth makes you think any of us would want to provide sexual favors to that man for your sick enjoyment!?" Bethany took a quick look at her fellow contestants after her protest, hoping to get some support. Though most of them remained silent, Alexandra was the most vocal, letting out an "Eww" as she grimaced, and Jared gave her a nod as he hummed in agreement. As for the others, Catherine was trying to hide her wince, Alice was looking away, and Wilhelmina gave her a short glance before she went back to glaring at Circe and Marcus.

Circe's smile didn't diminish at the interruption, and she gave a small chuckle before she spoke. "Well, that's interesting. I didn't say anything about sexual favors now, did I?" She chuckled some more at Bethany's resulting glare before moving on, though not without some smugness. "Where was I? Oh, right. So, pleasing the Master isn't the only way to earn VPs. Starting tomorrow, there will be a challenge at the start of each week going forward, awarding VPs depending on your performance. Your participation in these challenges is, of course, mandatory. You should be careful, though, as you can also lose VPs through acts that displease the Master. Furthermore, the first of you to reach 100 VPs will be awarded a wish. And lastly, you can also obtain Bonus Points, or BPs, through various activities, and through popularity polls, the first of which is now open for our viewers to vote in! These BPs will act as a form of currency here. Now, do you have any questions?"

Jared was the first to speak. "Yeah. When can we leave?" And Circe didn't miss a beat as she answered. "The show will end once three contestants have reached 100 VPs or more. You can also leave after being eliminated, but that can only happen if you end a round with a negative amount of VPs. But trust me, you don't want to be eliminated, as it comes with some pretty harsh consequences."

Alexandra spoke up next. "What kind of challenges?" Circe gave a small hum before answering. "Well, there are many possibilities, too many to list, in fact. Most are physical in some way, but they mostly tend to be games, and we've even had some video games." As she spoke, Circe was blatantly ignoring the way Wilhelmina's glaring intensified.

Catherine gave a sympathetic look to Wilhelmina, even though the young woman didn't see it, before she asked her own question. "What about our jobs?" Circe gave a dismissive wave as she answered. "Don't worry; the necessary steps have been taken to ensure there won't be any problems. You can think of this as a vacation, if you want."

Having had the time to collect herself since she last spoke, Bethany decided to ask a question as well. "You mentioned a wish earlier. Could you elaborate?" Circe gave a short sigh at the question, shaking her head as she answered. "I am afraid that I can't do so at this time. But don't worry, it will be explained in full once one of you earns it."

Bethany's eyes narrowed at the answer she got, and Circe waited a few seconds before she started talking again when it looked like there were no further questions. "Well, If you're finished, I believe it is now time for the moment most of our dear viewers are waiting for."
