Isabella speaks to the ministers

"Moving on to internal matters, our Minister of the Interior is currently interrogating General Secretary Romero. As we speak, he is extracting information from him, and I am sure he will soon be in a mood to talk. In the mean time, my mother shall assume the role of Secretary General. Any objections?" Isabella said, looking around the table.

There were murmurs of assent from all seated.

"Good," Isabella said, leaning back in her chair. "Now that everyone is brought up to date with the situation, I expect regular updates on your ministries delivered to my office. Dismissed."

The cabinet members stood up, ready to leave the room, her mother giving her a subtle nod as she left. She would want to meet in her office after this, Isabella knew. But before she do so, she still had a chance to talk to one of the ministers in private.
