Chapter 47
by takacube
What's next?
Is this a date?
Arron asked himself that question.
Unluckily for him, though, he had no answer. Not at the moment.
He had expected to meet with Derek, as they had planned, for some coffee and maybe to chat a bit. Here, though, at the coffee house they had agreed to meet sat Derek and his father, William. In a drunken stupor, he had done some rather unsavory things, imagining unsavory things, and even felt some unsavory things too. He could smell the man's cologne, feel the man's hand resting on the top of his shapely bottom, and he (imagined) feeling his excitement as they pressed together...
Arron gulped down as much of his nervousness as possible and made his way to the table. Derek, spotting him entering, got up with a smile and waved him over while William, a bit stunned at his arrival, got up too quickly and bumped the edge of the table a bit. His son's reaction was fast enough to save their coffees but not quickly enough, with not enough hands, to save the rest of the things on the table from spilling and creamer and sugar went scattering all over. "Oh, damn it, dad..."
Arron got over quickly and the three of them did their best to clear things up, sopping up some of the creamer off the table and with a sigh of relief, noticed none had gotten over any chair or clothing. He couldn't help but laugh a little at the nervousness of the older man and it helped him deal with his own bit, especially once his brain managed to settle himself down. It wasn't easy to sit in the chair and a part of him wondered if, perhaps, he should've gone with something else.
"Sorry, I thought I was going out for coffee on my own but dad got some major hangover from last night." Derek glanced askance at his father who was busy trying to pretend he was doing something else, anything else, and ignored the slight flush on his face. "He asked to come along for coffee."
"Did you tell him we were meeting?" Arron asked with a raised eyebrow.
Derek laughed. "Forgot. Sorry about that."
William couldn't help but glance at any direction other than at the woman sitting down across from him. He was more than a bit embarrassed at the fact that he had masturbated when he got home, imagining her giving him a masterful handjob and smelling her perfume. He was even more shocked when he had awoken a few hours later to find himself yet again covered in cum after having one of the most erotic dreams possible with her as the primary focus. William had never been a morning person, especially with a headache that would not quit, but he had somehow managed to get the laundry going and ignored the somewhat knowing glances being shot at him from his erstwhile son.
Shit shit shit... he cursed internally as he somehow managed to find his voice again and began to speak with Erin, her smile at once disarming as well as enchanting him beyond any reason or logic. He was a middle-aged man, for christ sake, but yet he was acting like a teenager on his first date with a girl and fumbling all about.
Derek was trying his best to give him some inroads to redeem himself and to break the awkwardness of the moment and he took some relief as Erin herself seemed more than a bit flustered and embarrassed, though it was probably from the fact she had expected to be meeting her coworker and now his father was also there. The dress she was wearing brought attention immediately to her hips and her breasts. He was a breast man through and through and his wife Veronica, bless her heart, had been rather well endowed but now, compared to Erin, he couldn't help but admit that he had been missing out on quite a lot in life up until that point. He glanced up again after talking a bit and noticed she had spotted him checking out her breasts.
Goddamn it, man! Get a grip!
----
Arron didn't know whether he should be somewhat offended or flattered that he was able to cause this level of fumbling in another person, especially with a man who, from all appearances, was rather well put together and calm. He had spoken to Brooke who knew him rather well and she practically gushed about how lonely he had been the past few years with his wife's **** and how it was nice for him to get out and engage people again. When he heard that Veronica, the former wife, had passed due to Cancer, he understood completely. Erin had succumbed to a rare form of bone cancer of an aggressive nature, it happened so quickly that they had barely enough time to get things in order before her end came. So he knew how the man felt.
Or do you WANT to know how he feels right now? His mind wandered a bit and he couldn't help but notice that William, although he was opening up a bit more and talking, was still trying to struggle between keeping eye contact and feeling his eyes drop to his boobs. For his part, as the older man excused himself and got up to go use the restroom, Arron couldn't help but notice the sizeable bulge in his pants even though William tried his best to hide it quickly. Arron felt his pulse racing and he turned immediately to focus his attention on Derek. "Sorry that I brought him..."
"N-No, that's okay. It's good that you spend time with him."
Derek laughed a bit and looked at his work friend across from him. "Do you have a daughter?"
He nodded, grateful that the young man was giving him an out to make it less awkward. "Sarah, she's 19. She's taking a year off from school due to the move and her...father...passing away." He nodded immediately and Arron made a mental note to introduce the two. Not for the fact of trying to convert him, Derek was too far flamboyant to be 'saved', but rather for Sarah. Every girl needed to have a friend or two and with Michael, the poor young Michael, flaming out, perhaps the best thing she needed was a Fag Hag. Did they even use that term anymore, he wondered in part, before turning back to him. "You're what..23?"
"24 in a few weeks. Do you want me to befriend her, show her the ropes?"
He laughed and raised his cup in a mock salute to which he returned. "You read my mind."
"Well, I've been known to do that...pisses off Cynthia like nothing!" He paused as the phone began to ring and he sighed. "Speaking of which..." He picked up the call. "Hello?" A few moments later he shook his head and sighed. "Can you tell dad that I went out? The school's got an issue with the grading system and I gotta troubleshoot it or else some seniors will be pissed."
"S-Sure...no problem."
"Thanks, owe you one!" He smiled a knowing smile, Arron blushed again, and the young man took off with a laugh, leaving him wondering what on Earth was he going to do now?
What's next?
Becoming his Daughter's Mother
He becomes a single mother...but single for how long?
A man and his daughter move to a new town to start a new life but he didn't plan for it to be so drastic.
