Daphne's irritation
Is there an issue?
(Daphne POV)
Daphne was pissed off at Leo. But worst of all Daphne was pissed at herself. Why had she been so upset when she'd seen Jessica holding hands with Leo? Was it because they'd slept together last night?
They were adults. They were free to do what they wanted. But if she recognized that, why was she getting so upset? Daphne really wasn't used to being upset. She knew what it was like to be annoyed with someone, of course. After all, who hadn't worked with incompetents? But that had nothing to do with what she was feeling now.
She needed to calm down and think seriously about the situation, but she was too worked up to calm down, which made her even angrier. She was no longer in control of her own thoughts, and this wasn't even Nola's fault.
She decided to lie down on the fine sand of the beach and surrender to the sound of the waves. Several minutes passed without her thinking about anything. Clearing her mind was the only real solution when she was this tense. After an hour of clearing her mind, she was finally calm.
She'd lost her temper for no real reason. Leo had every right to help Jessica. Maybe it was just to keep her from being eliminated. Leo was generous and altruistic enough to do that. Anyway, it wasn't as if Leo had any feelings for Jessica.
They'd only met at the beginning of the week; it was too quick for them to start having feelings for each other. Especially since Leo had only spent one day with her.
This Jessica didn't seem like a good person anyway, and Leo had no chance of falling in love with someone like her. Leo had good taste and preferred girls with a little more elegance, not brainless baboons.
However, Leo was a man and Jessica's big breasts were bound to attract his attention. Daphne looked down at her own breasts, sure enough she didn't have much in the way of B-cups. But she didn't care, it wasn't as if she wanted to seduce Leo.
No, she had better things to do she had to find a way out of this show. The problem was that her previous plan hadn't really worked. She was **** to admit that she was running out of ideas. She was going to have to ask for advice.
Blanche would be of no help. She'd tried talking to her, but the results hadn't lived up to her expectations. Abigail might have been able to help, but she wasn't there. Asking Jessica for help was out of the question; a fool like her would be of no use to her anyway. She couldn't get Hanna to talk. That left her with only one solution.
She decided to walk around the island. After all, she had no idea where to look for him. It wasn't in her room. And from what she'd managed to extract from Hanna, the young writer didn't know where he was.
It took her almost 2 hours to find him on the beach, landing gracefully on the fine sand.

Daphne decided to approach him gently. After all, she was seeking his help and it would have been counterproductive to upset him.
"Hi Eric. Did you have a good flight?" she asked.
"Very good. The sensation of flying is indescribable. The wind in your face and the emptiness beneath your feet give you an incomparable feeling of excitement." Eric said.
Daphne nodded. It had been a human dream to fly for thousands of years, and now it was a reality for Eric. No wonder he was pleased.
"Glad to see there are benefits to your transformation. I must admit, it would have been horrible for me with my vertigo. Three meters off the ground I'd already be starting to panic." Daphne replied.
"I'd forgotten you were afraid of heights. Now that you mention it, I remember Leo mentioning it, probably talking about your sports classes when you were in the same class." Eric commented.
"Yes, we had climbing lessons for a term, and since Charles and I were afraid of heights, it was Leo who spent his time on the wall, going up and down. He had a lot of fun." Says Daphne, remembering the good old days when everything was simpler.
"Yes, Leo likes to climb, whether it's trees or walls. I think it comes from the fact that he was often the smallest in his class and would get up high to compensate for that." Says Eric.
It's true that until she was 18, Daphne was taller than Leo, who was almost 2 years older. Now Leo had surpassed her in height by a few centimetres, but he was still not very tall, barely 1.70 m.
"I'm guessing, though, that you didn't come to talk to me about Leo's size." Said Eric.
Perceptive as ever. Good, that was why she'd come too.
"I need to discuss what I can do to get out of this show. And I've come to ask for your help and advice." Said Daphne.
"I see." Says Eric.
"So, you're going to help me and give me advice?" asked Daphne.
"Of course, I'm going to help you, and here's my first piece of advice: Give up!" said Eric.
"What???!!!" Said Daphne assuming she'd heard me.
"You heard me perfectly well, give up you're completely out of your depth, you can't win. If you fight, you'll only create more suffering." Said Eric.
"But, but ..." Daphne said, at a loss for words.
"But what? You saw the result of your previous attempt. You're lucky you got off so easily. Your mother could have been involved. You could have lost a lot more in all this." Said Eric.
"But I can't do nothing. I've got to do something. I have to leave this show." Said Daphne, whose heartbeat had accelerated.
"Ok let's take it your way. You've shown yourself that we can't expect any help from the outside, so if we want something to happen, it has to come from us." Eric said.
Daphne nodded in agreement. She couldn't see how anyone could help them.
"Then we're on an island and we're not even on Earth, so there's nowhere to run." Said Eric
"What do you mean we're not on Earth? How do you know that? Nola doesn't have anything like that." Said Daphne.
"The stars. Look at the sky tonight and you'll quickly see that it's a sky that can't be seen from anywhere on Earth." Said Eric.
Okay, so he'd memorized the sky map. Talk about useless.
"But there are others we can try." Says Daphne.
"Indeed, you have several alternatives. You can go up against Nola and try to kill her." Says Eric.
Kill her? He was serious?
"Assuming she's the only person involved, and you manage to kill her then the show has a chance of stopping but we'll probably be stuck here. And given the size of this island, there's a good chance we'll starve to ****." Says Eric.
_"But how could I kill her? It's immoral and against the law and the Bible." _Says Daphne.
"I'd forgotten you were a believer, but anyway, that's not even the main problem. The main difficulty will be succeeding, because I remind you that you're up against a magical being endowed with powers beyond our comprehension." Eric said.
Daphne could only nod: this solution was possible, but clearly not easy to implement.
"What about the other solutions?" she asked.
"The show revolves around Leo, so it's possible that if Leo disappears, the show will stop." Said Eric.
"Wait-you're not actually suggesting killing your brother, are you?" Daphne asked.
"It's a valid hypothesis, even if it's based on the fact that it's definitive. I'm convinced that the Master can't be replaced without starting a whole new season, which could free us up," said Eric.
He was so calm as he proposed killing his brother. Did he hate him?
"But I can't kill Leo. It's wrong. Leo's my best friend I'd never be able to kill him." Daphne said as tears welled up in her eyes.
"I understand, in that case, there's only one way for you to leave the harem." Eric said.
"What's that?" asked Daphne hopefully.
"That you kill yourself." Said Eric before flying off, leaving her alone on the beach, not knowing what to make of this discussion.
